Hi- I’m making a wedding soon and I want to know what are some venue ideas for a 200 guest affair in NY or NJ. I dont want a typical wedding hall- but rather someplace more personal, outdoors-ey, or homey. What would you suggest?

    Mazal Tov!

Why don’t you do the normal type of wedding?

Shimon, are you saying that at most chasunas, using the normal chasuna system, they’re lacking simchas Choson V’Kalla?

No, he’s saying that THIS chasan v’kallah want something different. There is nothing wrong with that. Chill out.

And is the “normal system” the best option? Even if you don’t have to worry about going into debt, it’s not assur or even bedieved to have some individuality. Seriously, what’s wrong with having an abnormal chasuna?

Start saving up and putting away now money for your childs wedding in 10 years from now and think about the future. Instead of waiting until the last minute and they become engaged and then the pressure starts

Use one of the out-door fields in/near Lakewood.
