Nothing personal against Froggies btw, it’s just that today’s Froggies are not at the same medreiga they were in Mitzrayim… Yeridos hadoros effect everyone and everything.
Moderators don’t have views like other people do. They work unbiasedly.
I nominate Meno. I think he would make a great moderator. I don’t know if he wants to give up his engineering job though…

Why’d you choose the name “BuzzLeaks” though, that didn’t seem believable.
What if there’s a mod shortage, will that be the end of the CR? My post from close to 2 hrs ago still hasn’t been approved. That doesn’t bode well at this hour. Or maybe it’s been deemed controversial and a Beis Din must be convened to rule on the matter. I really don’t know.

I used to think that until I saw that my response to a word game post took around 10 hours to moderate. See this post for an explation of long moderating time:

I prayed before the last time I refreshed the page to see if the Mods updated it. I’ve never prayed for an update.
The first time I prayed and the page was updated!

1. Don’t play dumb, although it’s not a complete “changing of the guards”.
2. I wrote my post about 10:40 EST, IIRC, so I wouldn’t call it fast. It s not that long either, but in the past, at that hour my posts went through almost instantly. And after my previous post, they may have “woken up”.

Uh…thanks for the compliment. Since I wasn’t “playing”, I guess I must be dumb iyho. I would appreciate it though if you could explain to me what you are talking about, since I’m apparently too dumb to understand.

I don’t think it was meant to be. (BuzzFeed + WikiLeaks is my guess.)
I’m still waiting for you to answer my question, Mammale. As I said, I really am dumb.
I haven’t been on CR long enough to speculate if the Mods are new.
Why isn’t it possible that something came up and Mods are juggling more right now?
Or maybe one Mod left the position, went out of town, has a persistent cold, has a night job, had a baby, etc.
Does anyone here pay for their CR account? I don’t. I do get antsy when I want to read my post and read new posts and there is a wait. However, Mods are humans too.
Someone a while ago said that the Mods sometimes have to research our posts to determine whether or not the content is appropriate.
Maybe the YW Editor made new regulations for Mods to follow when screening posts? Maybe the system is slower and the Mods are the same. Maybe maybe maybe so many ideas.
