Hodu laHashem ki tov!! Baruch Hashem due to things working out for me to the point where it is (manageabley) smooth I can now return back to regular here (even though I have been posting it has only been here and there). Yes it is because of good reasons and I have been (and still will be) busy.

I’m kinda new to posting, as I only posted a 10 times, but I’m a long time lurker.
However, I’m posting in here right now because I feel like I’ve been ignored on all my other posts so far, and I’m not likely to spend the lengthy amount of time it takes to really build up my name like some of the old timers and frequent posters have. So tell me- do I need to get more involved and people will start to respond to things I say? Anybody know the standard break-in period?

Post on a few threads, not just one. (Join in the conversation- respond to specific comments, not only the OP)
Mention that you’re new. I’ll notice you more once I know to look for you.
Getting everyone riled up will get you publicity but it might not be good publicity.
I have a feeling I welcomed you, if not than welcome.
And hey, sometimes us old-timers feel ignored to. Everyone is treated equally 😉

The ‘break-in’ period doesn’t really exist. Pretty much once one of us sees a new name and welcomes, most other people jump on the bandwagon.
In regards to responding to posts, I have noticed, unfortunately, that people don’t seem to read much background of conversation before putting in their input so unless your comments were like of the ast three approved and put up …
