Seems like the “Awaiting moderation” display has been taken away.
Yes, when submitting a post, it seems to just disappear completely now, which is disconcerting, and could lead to people attempting to post the same thing multiple times.

That’s a good safeguard and nice upgrade to the site! My concern was more about people retyping their message manually and then reposting. In this case, most of the time the text won’t be identical, so the “duplicate” post will still go through. This is frustrating to the both poster and the readers, and will eventually annoy the mods. A possible example of this is here, where zahavasdad possibly thought his initial post went into a black hole, and thus resposted a shorter version of the original post that was published right above.

It is disconcerting.
I am wondering how we will know if our posts were deleted by the moderators or simply not moderated yet.
I think the developers are playing a game with us, because there were so many complaints about the long lists of “awaiting moderation” that we saw yesterday 🙂
I had no problem with the “awaiting moderation”. I thought it was cool. It meant that every time I logged on, even if there were no new moderated posts, I got to see something new. And I got to see who had commented, and it gave me something to look forward to.

I know this isn’t a bug, but its driving me crazy.
That ad in the top left corner of the page for the wig website is so obnoxious.
When does their contract run out?
Currently, you remain on the “new topic” page after starting a topic.
Theoretically, you ought to be redirected to the main page.The way the “Last Post” is listed, it makes it look like c”v, posters have posted when it’s Y”T for them. That is because the time listed for the last poster does not necessarily match the name of the last poster.
The time is listed for the last post whether or not it was moderated yet, but for the name it lists the name of the last moderated post (or in some cases, the second to last or third to last moderated post).
I understand that the time does not match the poster, but in theory there can be viewers who don’t. It also just bothers me that it looks that way.
Of course, it’s possible that all these posters just made aliya Erev Pesach, or that are in EY for Pesach and hold like the B’aal HaTanya that anyone in EY for YT keeps one day, or they come for all of the Shalosh Regalim and hold by the Poskim who hold that you keep one day in that case.
But if they also posted when it was YT in EY on Erev YT, that wouldn’t work.
Although any Hebrew comes up as ?????????, the real words come up on the google search page. So if you want to work out what something really says, you can try manoeuvre it to come up as a google search result.
