August 18, 2011 3:40 am at 3:40 am #806508OfcourseMemberNever heard of it. Daughter says theyre gross, but 2 people gave it a 5 star rating on Amazon.
August 18, 2011 4:17 am at 4:17 am #806509LemonySnicketParticipantWhen I first had them in Israel; I thought they were out of this world. T’was like 10 shekels a pop but so worth it! So simple, yet so complex and delicious. Whoever invented this magical snack is a true gentleman (or gentlewoman) and scholar! Bamba for president! (not Obamba)
August 18, 2011 4:49 am at 4:49 am #806510dunnoMemberI lived on those in Israel last summer
August 18, 2011 12:26 pm at 12:26 pm #806512Shticky GuyParticipantYou’ve obviously never tried the halva filled bamba. (Or maybe you dont like halva).

September 5, 2011 9:15 pm at 9:15 pm #806516minyan galMemberWhat is a “Bamba”??
September 5, 2011 9:49 pm at 9:49 pm #806517supergirl613Membermg you never had bamba???? you’re missing out on soooooo much!!!!
September 6, 2011 12:02 am at 12:02 am #806518OfcourseMemberThe plain Bambas dont excite me, its the hazelnut and sesame (halvah) that do. Theyre $1.45/$1.59 in Pomegranate, how much are they elsewhere?
September 6, 2011 4:34 am at 4:34 am #806519i love coffeParticipantminyan gal- Bamba looks like a cheese puff but instead of being made from cheese its made from peanut butter. Now there are some new ones that have hazelnut fillings or sesame (halva). They are really good. Once you try’em you cant stop.
September 6, 2011 7:50 pm at 7:50 pm #806520OfcourseMemberNow that Im addicted, what do they cost usually? Is Pomegranate’s price of $1.49/$1.59 (for the 2 varieties I mentioned) the average price?
September 6, 2011 9:36 pm at 9:36 pm #806521Shticky GuyParticipantI’m not suprised that Pomegranate sell delicious treats such as halva or hazelnut bamba. After all, Pomegranate do have a name for cheering up depressed customers. And it does not make a difference whether they are ashkenazi or sefaradi
September 6, 2011 10:57 pm at 10:57 pm #806522GumBallMemberI used 2 like them but now aftr reading this thread i love them!! Shticky Guy-halva is so not my style!!

I thought it was dead and gone, and that was ok with me, since I am on a strict strict diet called TLC (To learn COntrol!) and I will probablly never taste those little bamba babies again!
Then i come in the CR and see this thread has been revived from the dead.
Ok go ahead. eat them. it won’t make me jealous. boo hoo
