Personally, I think that “Blinquie” is tres elegant.
You meant “Blinqui”, n’est-ce pas?
October 7, 2010 3:34 pm at 3:34 pm #982226blinkyParticipantThanx mod for my new title i like it! Merci!

October 8, 2010 5:27 pm at 5:27 pm #982234jay11691MemberEat less. It works well.
October 8, 2010 5:32 pm at 5:32 pm #982235squeakParticipantEat less. That’s a good suggestion. Here are some other good ones.
Give blood.
Shave your head.
Stop wearing jewelry.
Remove your fillings.
Pull out all your teeth.
Always carry helium balloons.
October 8, 2010 5:34 pm at 5:34 pm #982236YW Moderator-80Memberim surprised you didnt mention:
leave some of your fat in the fifth dimension
October 8, 2010 5:48 pm at 5:48 pm #982237SacrilegeMemberThe best diet that always works… Close Your Mouth And Put Down Your Fork.
October 8, 2010 6:06 pm at 6:06 pm #982238bptParticipantSqueak, you left off “move to the moon” or for those that dont need to lose quite that much “move to the bottom of a pool”
October 8, 2010 6:13 pm at 6:13 pm #982239squeakParticipantAh yes, an easy way to lose weight without losing any mass.
And here is another good one along those lines: To quote a famous limmerick,
There was a young lady named Bright,
who travelled much faster than light.
She left home one day,
and in a relative way,
returned on the previous night.
Said the bright one to her friends in a chatter,
I have learned something new about matter.
As my speed was so great,
much increased was my weight,
yet I failed to become any fatter!
So, the solution (which is much easier than moving to the moon) is to move extremely slowly all the time. That’s it- all it takes is to get all those speedy fat people to slow down 🙂
October 8, 2010 6:20 pm at 6:20 pm #982240SacrilegeMemberBPT –
“move to the moon”
Well, technically you still weigh the same there is just no gravitational pull.
Whereas, you dont have to move to the moon, you can just tell people that you really dont weigh all that much the earth just has a stroner gravitational pull on you.

might also be a good answer to docs twin riddle
October 8, 2010 6:27 pm at 6:27 pm #982242squeakParticipantMod80- BRILLIANT
Sacrilege, actually BP Totty is completely correct. The definition of weight is dependent on the gravitational pull on mass. Same mass, different gravities = different weight.
October 8, 2010 6:28 pm at 6:28 pm #982243bptParticipantSac – if the scale says you weigh 110 lbs (even though you’re as wide as a house) the scale wins. Don’t question the scale.
October 8, 2010 6:28 pm at 6:28 pm #982244squeakParticipantUntil you remember that even Dr. Middos failed at time travel (he asserts that only Hashem can be in the past and the present at the same time). I highly doubt some teenager was more successful than he.
October 8, 2010 6:35 pm at 6:35 pm #982245SacrilegeMemberSqueak – I wasnt questioning science.
Disclaimer: That was satire.
October 8, 2010 6:35 pm at 6:35 pm #982246YW Moderator-80Memberonly Hashem can be in the past and the present at the same time
this will be a tough one to argue
but they would both be in the present, even relative to each other.
its just that the present now, used to be the past, from number 2s perspective.
so for number 2 the past really was the future, but has now become the present (which the future usually does, at least so far)
August 25, 2011 3:47 pm at 3:47 pm #982248YW Moderator-42ModeratorTwo tips about time travel:
1. Forget the past, you can’t change it.
2. Forget the present, I ain’t getting you one.

it was a head shot, aerial view actually, bad resolution. I’m sure she makes more of an impression in person.
October 25, 2013 5:24 pm at 5:24 pm #982257WIYMemberWhy are they called yo-yo diets? Because anyone who sees you says “yo-yo, what happened to you?!”
