OK its crunch time and I do not know where to send my son. I was planning on calling the bigger, more well known camps and offering my services in exchange for a break, but B”H I have just found a job which is a 12 month program. I am looking for a back-yard camp or one which would not break me, as close as possible to or in Flatbush. Thanks so much.
ask your neighbors with little kids, a lot of girls make backyard day camps and the kids love them.

A lot of my friends send thier little ones to Sophia Dabbah. She is around a thousand $ for the summer,I think from 9-3,shorter day on fri. She is located on east 10 bet ave o and n or o and p. I don’t know her # but you can probably google her. If you have trouble finding her,post again and I’ll ask my friend for her #. Everyone loves her.
there is one called Torah Umidos on e.13 and m and n. Its a more Chaim berlin, bya, type.. if you want i can post the number..

IF he is he three year old post nursery then you can send to Ruach it is an all day program. If not send to torah umidos or to toiv(Rebbetzin Oshry)

@Commonsense: Those backyard “camps” probably do not have any insurance and threfore illegal.
true, but so are many of the most popular playgroups. do you let your children play in other peoples homes? This is not so different than letting your child play by a friends home and the kids are supervised full time. Many small bungalow colonies used to have similar type day camps run by teenagers. Personally I like when things are done right and legal, but my kids would have missed out on the most amazing playgroup experience if I insisted on it.
