    I really don’t get why you have such a problem with it. Would you also be upset about a thread discussing clothes? I’m probably speaking for others including myself when I say that my life doesn’t revolve around my nails but find absolutely nothing wrong with getting them done. I don’t see why you’re making such an issue about it if all you have to do is ignore the thread!

    dunno- i do get manicures but you sound like its all you know how to discuss…. its one thing if it was a thread that came and went but its another thing when it goes on for months and months,….. just not nice there are so many guys here…..

    I’m not sure why you felt the need to start an argument over this, its innocent conversation with nothing inappropriate being said.

    I find it more offensive that you feel the need to pick a fight over nothing.

    great summer color: moonlight over mumbai from opi. its a whiteish lilac – something a bit different but still “yeshivishe” for those of us who usually wear light whites and pinks. also samoan from opi – matte nude (not sheer).

    just curious if i could pull off black nail polish in the summer…i love it in the winter, but im not sure if itll work this time of the year.

    also whats the deal with the sally hanson stickers, i bought a box but im not sure i wanna try it?!!?

    I like iced Roses and south o’the highway…ballet slippers is also very nice…I would only get light pinkish colors…

    I dont think so.. But I wear almost no black in summer so I cant imagine bein stuck w that color on my nails..

    Hey! I’m a guy and I use nail polish………………because it is easier to find than appliance touch-up paint and does a great job on scratched appliance and electronic gadget housings! (I am a bit embarrassed to buy it though and because the lowest grade is good enough for my purposes I buy it at the supermarket when I need it.)

    I’m just curious how do you feel wearing it? does it make you feel pretty? or you are trying for a “look”?

    I’m not trying to be mean just curious, because I dont think I have seen black nail polish on people.

    I think the lighter the color, the nicer it looks. (that is my personal opinion and if you feel the darker the color the nicer it is so be it. But black nails??)

    Hashem Yishmor from what, exactly? I think this conversation is better served on a Cosmetics Blog perhaps, but are you objecting to the DISCUSSION or to the wearing of nail polish by frum females?

    If to the discussion itself, I agree this is not the place for talking about various nail polish colors.

    But if you object to women beautifying their hands by wearing polish, that is a whole different type of hashkafic discussion, and I am pretty certain women applied all sorts of reddish cosmetic to their hands throughout the ages (i.e., henna). So what is it that you find disconcerting, the discussion on this specific forum, or the fact of the existence of nail polish altogether, in the frum world?
