I need advice what to do about my dumb friend.
See, I have this friend, who is very dumb. He knows he is dumb. He has decided that he will marry a smart girl only, because, he is afraid that if he marries a dumb girl that their kids will be very very dumb.
Now, he is dating this girl, and she is very dumb. But! He thinks she is smart! I know she is dumb because I dated her. (As well as my chavrushah’s cousin who also assures us she is dumb.) So I told him that she is dumb. But he is dumb and thinks she is smart.
The problem is that she told him that really she is smart, and he is also smart, and really I am the one who is dumb and that is why I think they are dumb.
I really don’t want him to marry her and have kids and be disappointed. (And my chavrusah wants to date her, because he wants to have dumb kids, because he is dumb.) So what should I tell him?
Don’t say anything. Your friend will have dumb kids, but don’t worry he’ll think they’re smart. If they come out smart like you, he’ll think they’re dumb. Everything’s great and the shidduch crisis loses another battle!!

Since he knows that he is really dumb and she is telling him that he is smart, he should realize that she is dumb…
If your friend thinks shes smart then he will think his kids are smart as well even if they arent. (She will convince him if hes in doubt).
Btw its inconclusive that intelligence is hereditary. There are many factors that affect intelligence. Google it you will see what I mean.

He should marry her. Two negatives = one positive.
PBA, this is a shiddach that will result in very smart children. It’s like math…when one multiples a negative number by a negative number, the product is a positive number. Similarly, if your friend and the girl are truly dumb, the kids will be smart. AND the dumber the friend and the girl are, the smarter the kids will be.
So in that case…they are probobly too dumb to even realize that anyway…..wish them Mazel tov from me if they get engaged!
