You have two comparable models in mind. HVAC-1 makes an unpleasant noise in operation. HVAC-2 makes a pleasant noise in operation. Can you select and install HVAC-1 even though it makes a pleasant tune, knowing that it will be operating on Shabbos? If you enjoy the sounds while it is in use, does that count as listening to music? Thank you ☺🎶 December 7, 2017 1:04 am at 1:04 am #1421672 ☢️ Rand0m3x 🎲Participant I think the Shabbos issue might be the same regardless of how pleasant (or not) the noise is. As for the question of music, the idea that the system qualifies as a musical instrument seems doubtful.
