    Just saw that Greenfield secured over 3 million dollars for the 18th ave park and ocean parkway. They just gave 5 million dollars worth of school buses to private schools. I know these are very nice things for us but does anyone else think that these things are crazy when the economy is in the tank and there is no money for basics?

    This money is probebly designated for parks in the budget would you have it in another neighborhood or in yours.

    the question is why don’t we all get up and say let’s not do all this unimportant stuff right now and redesignate the money where it will actually make a difference. There are many of us suffering because of the economy and watching money being flushed is painful.
