If you’re a mod who pretends not to be one, by posting under a regular, normal, non-mod screen name, say “aye” (with your non-mod username.)
It’s one the שלש חמורות to pretend to be a mod (read CR user manual)…
So I wonder if I could pretend to be one who is not one (who is one who is not one who is one who is not one who…)

Shopping, I am, now. And I never used two concurrently (only in one instance, where I didn’t want to associate with my comment / question (as per CR rules and regulations).
The reason I changed was because I wanted to start afresh… I’ve learned to tame down…

Every post other than your own that you’re reading on the CR, no matter what the username is, is actually Joseph. Everyone but you is Joseph! Unless you are Joseph, in which case you’re Joseph.
The rules prohibit impersonating mods, but are there any rules for mods impersonating mortals?

So according to CR rules and regulations, you are allowed to use 2 names at the same time if it’s because you don’t want to associate with your comment (whatever that means)?
In cases where one may be revealing personal information when asking a question or making a comment, we do allow a second screen name.
It is not frequent, but has occurred.
good to know about that rule though in case I ever need it.
Don’t worry – I know you said that it’s not frequent, so I won’t try to overuse it, if I ever even use it at all.
I’m assuming you need Mod permission for that, in any event.

lol… I actually had thought that LF wasn’t being accurate in his grammar and had really meant the “as per CR rules and regulations” to refer to the fact that he usually doesn’t use 2 names at one time.
And I figured that he must have broken the rules that one time (although, I was surprised, because it doesn’t seem like his type – but I figured there must have been exceptional circumstances)
My comment was meant as a weak attempt at humor.
