Has anybody ever heard of a minhag that after each part of the mitzveh tanz everybody says “Shabbos”?
I was at a chasunah last night (!!!) and there was a mitzvah tanz, and everybody was wishing the dancer ‘Shabbos’.
I asked the Badchan what pshat is, and he told me that “???” is ???? ????? of “??? ???? ???”.
Another reason is said, that the badchan is reminding everyone that they are wearing their Shabbos clothing, and they shouldn’t leave money in their pockets and forget to take it out before Shabbos.
The solution is to give the money to the badchan, so you won’t have any problem!
lol! the one and only time i’ve been to a mitzvah tantz, the badchan kept calling out “SHA!” I couldnt figure out why or what he was trying to say!
