Everywhere I go, everything smells like sweat.
It can’t be a person because there’s never anyone around me. Ever.
It can’t be my clothes because it happens even when I switch to my other set.
It can’t be me because when I turn my head around I still smell it. What could it be?
I have taken a neder, to be zoche to find the answer, to not take a shower till I find out.

October 11, 2011 9:18 pm at 9:18 pm #818772Bar ShattyaMemberOh don’t worry. I made the neder that I either have to figure that out, or convince my parents to let me visit them, so I figure it will be pretty soon.

October 12, 2011 5:39 pm at 5:39 pm #818777metrodriverMemberBar Shattya; You didn’t have to make a Neder (B’li Neder) to find out the source of your smelling sweat everywhere. You coulda axed me. There are two reasons; 1) Refraining from taking a shower for an extended period of time; 2) Failing to use a deodorant. Now, the main problem is, (In spite of the fact that you hold by the Shitta of “B’shvili Nivrah Haolom”.) that others are smelling it, too. If you keep on this “Mehalech”, you will have scientific proof of “B’shvili Nivrah Haolam”. ‘Cause there will be no one else around.

At 1st Seder, everyone smells like a bouquet of flowers. Ditto for 2nd seder. But at mishmar? Its Eau de Wilson
October 19, 2011 7:07 pm at 7:07 pm #818779popa_bar_abbaParticipantI figured it out. You put too much stuff in the washing machine and your clothes smell like sweat.
The solution is to spray your clothes with deodorant after you take them out of the dryer.
Alternatively, you can put a wax deodorant stick in the dryer with your clothes, and put it on high heat.
