1) How can mirrors reflect that which they don’t “see”? (If you stand next to a mirror and look down in it, you’ll see things which isn’t in its line of vision, so how does it know how to reflect it?)

mirrors reflect according to the angle that they are viewed from. if you look at a mirror from one side, you’ll see the reflection from the opposite side. you dont see staight ahead unless you are standing straight in front.
SDD: The days a male is not permitted to look in a mirror are these days. At least if one considers S”A to be current and is one’s guide.

Mirrors *do* reflect sound… just as much as any other glass surface.

The sound they reflect is in their role as a sheet of glass, not as a mirror.
