June 21, 2011 6:00 pm at 6:00 pm #1005991tobgMemberis anyone else besides me a little dismayed that so many frum high school kids are surfing the web, even if it is on jewish sites like this?
Who said they are in high school? Just because they went to one at some point in life?
Uh, call me crazy, but if I were in the principals position, and knew my students were on-line and bragging about being my students, I’d have a problem with that.
Didn’t you ever go to a high school? Aren’t you proud of your school?

I think you might want to see this the way a school principal would see it. But don’t take my for it; ask someone who’s in a school staff position of a school similar to yours and see if they think this is no biggie.
” Aren’t you proud of your school?”
Sure I am! And they are proud of me. Know why? Because I don’t do things that make them look bad in a very public way. I keep it discrete (as opposed to the shout-outs we have had been seeing here)

How are they making the school look bad? This thread seems pretty innocuous to me…

But then again, there’s a reason they clarify that it’s the Yeshiva Boys Choir.
It’s like otherwise you wouldn’t know.

February 27, 2014 12:46 am at 12:46 am #1005998in my humble opinionMemberI usually don’t comment too often and I’m not that often in the coffee room but when I saw this post I couldn’t resist! I cannot even begin to tell you what a great school Machon is..! From the most amazing hashkafos to the most amazing hanhala to the most amazing education! This year, they got a new principal and Baruch Hashem she’s doing a terrific job! Every student knows there’s an open door. The girls are all really well mannered and grow more every day. They bring in inspiring speakers and the teachers have many inspiring lessons. If anyone has any specific questions I would love to answer them!
