I’m interested in pursuing a Masters Degree in Education and would greatly appreciate any information on the available programs . I am currently working full time so only programs that cater to those who are employed are of interest to me.
Ive heard about some programs that run on sundays and possibly evenings as well. No online programs please .

It is highly recommended to anyone one who needs a masters and holds down a full time job. Classes are only on Sunday.

I’m not saying whether I agree or not since I never did any research into them but to some they are considered a ‘cop out’. So just do your research before deciding on any one program.
Hatzlacha!

You can get your degree without having to go to a physical classroom and most of the other students are like you and working full time. – http://education.cu-portland.edu

September 13, 2011 3:32 am at 3:32 am #809044musicteacherMemberIm not interested in a principal position..if i would have a masters in ed I’d get an increase in salary which is why i’d like to pursue this degree….no other reason .
September 13, 2011 4:19 am at 4:19 am #809045showerzingerMemberBellevue University has one that they offer thru a partnership with Young Israel. It’s part classroom/part online. My sister as well as several friends of mine from Yeshiva have taken it.
September 13, 2011 4:31 am at 4:31 am #809046YW BandMemberIm doing it with Touro in special ed. but you gotta pay them well$$$ its $1500/class! take out student loan. nice program & good field work
September 13, 2011 6:39 am at 6:39 am #809047commonsenseParticipantgetting a master’s is not cheap. you should evaluate whether the raise is worth what it costs to get the degree. Also there is a lot of work involved.
September 13, 2011 12:58 pm at 12:58 pm #809048musicteacherMemberShowerzinger, Im interested in this program that you mentioned .
Is there a way for me to get more info about it?
