    Hi,

    Since I will be back home in New York for Pesach, I need to buy some make up l’chvod Pesach. I know that lipstick is assur on Pesach, but what kinds of make up would you recommend, I have very fair skin and a lot of acne to cover up, my skin is also very sensitive, depending on the weather, I am also interested in purchasing some sunscreen when I get to new york, what do you recommend that I use that I can apply make up on my face after the sunscreen starts working?

    I also don’t want to spend a ton of money on make up either.

    Maybe before starting on makeup start on skin care products to clear up that acne. It will be more kavod for pesach. If you live in Brooklyn you should be able to buy kosher for pesach lipstick. You can buy makeup with built in sunscreen.

    13th Ave and somewhere between 44-49th st. there’s a kosher for Pesach makeup store, but I forget the name.

    ok, sounds good. Am I only required to get Kosher for pesach lipstick for pesach, or do I have to get everything else kosher for pesach as well?

    If you hold in general that it’s okay to use products such as shampoos or creams with chametz over pesach, then none of your makeup has to be kosher for pesach besides for lipstick.
