Hi. I’m a new divorcee with teenage sons and I’m looking for a friendly and non judgmental Shul where there’s serious Davening, and the socializing and talking are left for afterward. it should be in the area of the East 30’s from Ave L through Ave P, thank you.

Don’t want a Shul where women don’t dress with Tznius, etc.// not judging, just concerned for my sons and would be more comfortable showing them the type of hashkafa which is important for us.

Started by YRCB alumni, and has become a large Shul with a lot of non-alumni as well. Every time I have been there (which has been many), I have only met nice, friendly people who take Davening and Torah seriously.

The Rav, Rabbi Yosef Eisen & Rosh Kollel Rav Shmuel Smith are the most accepting & loving people I know. The shul is open to people from all backgrounds. From Chasidish to Black hat Yeshivish, to modern orthodox. Every person who walks in the door is greeted with a smile & offered a seeat. There is absolutely no talking during davening.

Sometimes they are the ones who make or break a shule. I happen to love my reb. and keep going back to the same shule because of her. Very important as she has the Rabbi’s ear. Much hatzlacha to you and your family.
