anyone know of anywhere i can find someone playing nice Jewish songs on the piano, where you see the keys he’s playing, so you can copy them and learn how to play?
Smarter thing might just be to buy a music book, or music sheets for the specific songs you want.
Learning to read music is not that hard. The challenge is to read it fast and fluently, or on-the-fly. If you are holding by learning a song step by step just learn to read notes. There are books and programs that teach it well.
If you don’t know how to read nores you can use the uPlay books. The tunes are writen both by finger numbers and alphabetical name of the keys, and there are pictures of how to play the chords with the proper fingers. iot also teaches you the rules on how to play by ear any song with chords
About those books: How are the 5 levels split across the 3 books?
(Are the times of year related to the levels?)
