Is it right that all the gefilte fish providers in Lakewood use the vaad’s recipe? Wouldn’t it be better if there were competition to improve upon the quality? Really the residents have nobody to blame but themselves for the gefilte fish quality as they refuse to use any other recipe.
Since gefilte fish is a Hungarian-Jewish cuisine, truthfully everyone needs to patronize the Satmar gefilte fish recipe.
Except for Pesach. Then Klal Yisroel is noheg to use the Polish recipe for faltche fish.
Polish recipes are dangerous as they might cause confusion between Polish and polish.
It’s a shame my choice of gefilte fish isn’t decided by daas Torah, it would taste so much better.
Does the vadd offer a baked version of thier recipe. My bubby’s bubby would love it. She would probably call it a falshe bubbeh myaeh
Gefilte fish is a coverup. If you ask an actual scientist, she’ll tell you that no such fish naturally exists in the ocean.
