    How does one go about finding out if a job they’re persuing/obtained is lagit? Legal wise. No sketchy stuff goin on?

    “Legit”-short for legitimate.Anyone else notice some of the “atroshus” (just being facetious) spelling mistakes in the Coffee Room?

    Do you mean to find out if your boss is doing something illegal? What type of business is it?

    exactly tobg.

    Is there a website that can show how lagitimate a business is.

    And how can I find out is its shady etc…sometimes a very nice looking ex: office could be dihonest etc.

    How can I prevent myself/people I know from entering a dangerous situatiion like this?

    Well if there would be such a website or service then no one would want to be a client of such fraudulent company, right?

    The only way is for you yourself to figure out what the boss might be doing wrong. Is he forging documents or asking you to lie about anything? Maybe compare it to other similar business.

    Rednails- I could be wrong about this but if you’re already asking this question, are you sensing that there is a problem or something fishy going on?

    chalila v’chas. the job I work @ is 100% lagit, the MOST HONEST place you can work at.

    I am asking in general, and on behalf of some friends…(i might also add, as part of past working experiences)

    Rednails, I am thinking that you can ask previous employees what it was like working there and from how they answer and what they answer you can usually get a clear picture of what is going on in a work setting. In general, I think you should ask around about it.
