Do you have any experience eating Kosher food at a Disney World Resort?
Disney World provides Kosher meals at their resorts upon request. Last time that I was at Disney World theme park, the Kosher meal consisted of a microwaveable hot dog and some latkes. Hopefully, their resort food is fancier and healthier.
Wondering if anyone has relied on Disney’s Resort food? Any advice?
Thank you š

Inside Disney, the double-sealed frozen meals heated in a microwave are likely the best you’ll get. I haven’t been to Orlando in 5 years, and I haven’t been to Disney since I was a Florida resident over a decade ago. There are a few kosher restaurants around, but the turnover is fast and the hashgachos can be confusing, so I cannot recommend a specific place. I am familiar with the Miami-based ORB, and the RCF is Chabad’s north and central Florida rabbinical organization, but outside of them I know nothing. I miss Ole Gourmet in Maitland – it was a repeated stop for us during trips across the state once upon a time. If you want to go beyond the microwaved double-wrapped airline meals, you should probably look into getting meals from restaurants outside of Disney, or bringing in your own food.

Orb stands for orthodox rabbinical board of broward county, miamiās Hashgacha is the KM (kosher Miami)

Thank you coffee addict!!! š
Thank you Avram in MD!!! š
… based on your helpful info, I’m going to pack kosher food for survival, and maybe eat out someplace kosher in Orlando if/when the opportunity arises… š
Thanks again!

It also has a nice ambience and a good choice for a “nice” dinner with the kids after schlepping around all day in the park.

What does that have to do with the fact that hundreds of thousand of frum yidden visit Disney World every year and want to find a place to eat with good food and hashgacha. My golf-club also didn’t allow yidden on the course until the late 1960s. Does that mean I should spit on the first tee every time I play?

-Not a bad idea

Information regarding kosher eateries and supermarkets catering to the kosher consumer in the Orlando area. -
