The fact that Yids are committing these crimes is terrifying…in all my life I can’t recall 2 horrific murders by Jews, whose victims were tzadics..within weeks of each other

mustangrider: Those are only the ones we know about. Plenty could have happened that didn’t make the news. Now there’s a scary thought.

Only G-d knows for certain why these kinds of things are happening.

However, that is not an excuse for us not to try and give reasons so that we can be aware of our issues and work on them.

    Reasons offered:

    Internet abuse

    Modesty abuse

    Evil speech

    General Immorality

It seems to me that the study of ethics can remedy in part all of these issues. There needs to be an upward thrust of fear of Heaven.

    May G-d protect his people.

B”DhE. This is beyond frightening. To have such horrific things happening especially at this time of year is very sobering. Hashem Yeracheim.

Now I ask us all…….. should we be frivolously whiling away out time “unwinding ” in chat rooms, or get the message that maybe we can do better with the opportunity Hashem is giving us every minute??

Ironic that this topic of murder s preceded by one who opened a discussion about going to the movies. Maybe we need to worry about the movie we are currently scripting, writing and star acting in…………

Batala is still a waste ………

The murderer is a rebbe in a cheder in Elad. He claims that his reason for doing it is that it says that before Moshiach ben Dovid comes, Moshiach ben Yosef has to die and he decided that Rabi Elazar was Moshiach ben Yosef. He was trying to expedite the process.

When Rav Koppelman, Rav Lefkowitz and Rav Stein Zichronom Livrocha were niftar within days of each other a few weeks ago, some took it as a sign that things are not right. Others brushed it off as all three were over 100 years old.

Could this latest tragedy, as well as being a general wake up call be a direct rebuttal to the latter response?

    A Kabbalist- a holy Kabbalist–i’m in tears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mourn intensely fellow Jews, take this to heart, do Teshuva.

As i heard recently in a Shiur these terrible things are happening before Moshiach, never have we seen such evil from our own people.

A young child being killed by a member of out nation, Rabbanim getting arrested in Isreal, Milah being proposed to be banned, this is Ikva De Meshicha. We must keep Emunah!, and hopefully we can get through this, and all witness Geula Sheleima!

Each of us knows in the depths of our hearts ways in which we do not live “with the presence of the shechina” unless we cannot be honest with self, each knows ways we can improve. Instead of looking to gedolim to have ruach hakodesh and tell us what we need to fix and then have it part of chat room chatter about how do they know and who said, let each person pick one way he/she will bring self closer to shechina and shechina closer to the world.

i heard someone say that now in israel, lives are cheap, soldiers die all the time, there is constant war and casualties, and he linked it to this weeks parsha that there were same amount of orei miklot on both sides of the yarden, because the ones out of eretz yisrael were much more lenient with killing ppl, so they were also careless with leavving things around that will cause accidental death, because they didnt value human lives, (hope i got that right) so too in israel lives are cheap, and ppl dont think too much about murdering others…

I know we don’t know the exact reason for the happenings in this world, I just wanted to share something that I heard, that was so true, and really was just very special. Our gedolim we have in this world no matter how far away, are the pillars that hold our world up! We need to understand and remind ourselves of this at all times. When 3 gedolim left our world at the same time so suddenly, yes, some of us were shocked at the moment, but life went on as usual. They are far from us (at least some of us) and we dont understand their worth completely, and the shmirah they give to the world! Now that they are gone, we lost that shmirah that they were supporting the world with! The world is falling fast without them! The disgusting and inhumane murderers that took place by fellow jews, are far from natural! we need to understand how great of a loss these gedolim were to our world, and always keep ourselves on track knowing and respecting our gedolim keeping to their takanos no matter how strange or harsh they sound! Doing this will hopefully help keep the world supported, and keep such horrible and unnatural things from happening!

Sorry so long this just really helped me put this into perspective…. Hope it can help others!

I read that he was unhappy with R’ Elazar’s advice regarding his marriage.

Im wondering whether what I read that he had negative involvement with two seventeen year old girls, has any truth.

Why do we need anyone telling us what we need to change, dosent EVERYONE have quiet a bit which they know on their own that has to be changed?!?!?!

Why are we always looking for deals & shortcuts?!?!?!

Rabbi Shlomo Amar was at a bris and he saw the Mohel doing something incorrectly so he told him nicely–the mohel screamed at him: Who are you to tell me what to do!

We see that in this generation there is no respect so yidden strengthen your respect and we will merirt in the geula shelima quickly!!
