So I saw this story on the homepage today. Apparently, some guy wouldn’t shut his yapper in a court room, so the judge has his mouth taped shut!.
AMAZING idea!
Anyone know of anyone (besides Joseph) that they would want to have this done to?
I should not, that this isn’t a new idea. They are doing this for years in certain Chassidish Cheder….

In 1969 Bobby Seale was gagged and chained during the Chicago 7 trial. Gagging defendants is not unusual and does happen with frequency here in the US. Typically, if facilities permit, disruptive defendants are removed from the courtroom to another room equipped with closed circuit TV where they can review the proceedings.

The judge is a wimp. If this happened in my courtroom I’d have had put soap in his mouth.
Like in the good ole days.
