It looked as if Joe Biden kept his wits a little too well during the debate for a man who as an awfully hard time remembering things.
Could it be that he had an invisible earpiece for just those moments?
Like if he forgot something, the man whispers the word he needs to say?
    That’s got to be illegal

No, it is that the accusations of dementia against Biden are just slanderous lies. Nevertheless it would have made sense for Biden to have had an earpiece. (And it is not illegal.) No one person can keep up with Trump’s lying. Trump’s strategy is the same is that of Goebbels: Lie so often, and so outrageously, that it is impossible to keep up with them.

The real shame is that someone posting under the name “torahlife” falls for this.

Joe Biden will not fire his best advisors like Trump who thinks that he knows everything better than anyone else. The smart person does not constantly interupt the other only the one who has an inferiority complex.

All the people who have been expecting Joe to be wheeled in on a stretcher connected to life support and surrounded by men in white coats got the surprise of their lives last night.

Joe is totally healthy. Physically, mentally and cognitively.
His way of speaking and mannerisms show that he is infinitely more presidential than Trump.

In fact, now they need to find excuses for his tremendous debate showing. They are grasping at straws.

Joe won fair and square and the whole US and the world saw it.

Biden actually has experience and skill as a good debater.

His weakness is that he has no good positions on issues.

If a qualified person had been feeding him answers through an earpiece, he would have had better answers.

tell me one “interuption” that was not a fact check and One fact check/”interuption” that was false

“Trump’s strategy is the same is that of Goebbels: Lie so often, and so outrageously, that it is impossible to keep up with them.”
biden said so many outright lies like hunter didn’t get any money from moscow’s mayors wife(it a proven fact) and that he had jobs after he was kicked out of the military and before biden was elected and then got paid millions to do something he had absolutely no experience in

AND LIKE SAYING ANTIFA IS AN IDEA NOT AN ORGANIZATION

My take on the whole thing is that the media as a whole are focusing on Trump repeated interruptions as a way to desperatley avoid talking about Biden’s performance.

    a) Trump is accused of going dragging things down. when aside from interrupting he actually tried treat Biden with respect. On the other hand when Biden was pressed to actually ansewer a question he told the President to “shut up” he at points called the President a “clown”and other choice references.

    b) Biden specifically refused to ansewer whether or not he would pack the Supreme Court or get tid of the filibuster “becuase that would become the issue”!?

    c) Biden claimed “he was Democrat party” but then stated he did not call the Democrat Mayor of Portland becuase he was a private citizen!?

    d) He bizzarley claimed to be against the Green New Deal then he was for it in the span of minutes.

    e) He tried to take credit for bailing out the auto industry when in fact the main part of it was done by Bush.

    f) When Trump was asked again about white supremacy Trump replied that he has no problem condemning it but would Biden condemn Antifa & violence from the left. Biden stated Anitaf does not exist.

I think that the media knows how exposed Biden would be if anyone paid attention to the actual substance of the debate Biden would be terribly exposed as such they have to cover by distracting with the pitiful “But Trump interrupted him!”

When some of the local Trumpkopf groupies still are posting nutcase conspiracy theories already disclaimed by Fox, NY Post, and taken down by all the social media sites, it highlights the importance of making sure you are tuned in to the most current Russian troll farms and getting the new theories on a real time basis. Nothing as bad as reposting and old troll when there are so many new ones.

Biden has a stutter. But yeah, lets tell the world he has dementia instead.

    How very honorable…

A friend of mine has a child with a stutter. Am I to recommend he send the child to dementia care?

Quay- with all due respect, your inability to differentiate between dementia and a stutter do not mean that you are correct.

Amil – totally sincere question (hard to believe but i really do like to hear rational people’s opinions)
I myself saw the wire under his jacket and piece in his cuff. I refuse to accept the words of trolls at face value. If it isn’t something that wasn’t supposed to be there, than what was it? (No troll or trumpkopf responses welcome)

Most likely part of a sound system. I’m sure Trump had the same system in place. If they only relied on the microphone mounted to podium the sound quality would be terrible.

Syag, the crease on his collar (and it’s shadow) was mistaken for a wire by many. What you thought was a wire on his wrist was his son Beau’s rosary that he wears on his wrist and is often seen touching. He also wears a gray ribbon which is symbolic of the fight against brain cancer on his wrist.Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Thanks for responding. So yes, sometimes a cigar is a cigar, and sometimes it just feels like time to wake up and smell the coffee. I can’t see the item in Joe’s sleeve so although it doesn’t resemble beads, I can’t know it wasn’t. But i did see the wire very clearly. It’s not a shadow, it’s a wire. I think an ‘i don’t know’ might have been more sensical a response than telling me i didn’t see something that i saw.

Would it bother you if it was a wire? Would it be hard to believe he was coached? I guess I’m wishing to hear some biden supporter say, “yes. I was unhappy with x,y,z but i support him anyway”, instead of trying to pretend nothing is ever a cigar.
    Sigh
Again, thanks for answering, im always interested in your take on things.

Sure I know what dementia is and how to recognize its onset.

You’ll see symptoms like semantic paraphrasia (“I hope they now go and take a look at the oranges, the oranges of that investigation”), phonemic paraphasia (“Betanyahu”, “bigly”), tangential speech (careening from one thought to the next in a parade of non sequiturs, frequently interrupting oneself, ), confusing people and generations (“Tim Apple”, “My father is German. Right? Was German. And born in a very wonderful place in Germany”), finding a MoCA test “very hard”, periodically struggling with basic mobility (like walking down a ramp or drinking a glass of water)…. The list goes on and on.

The occasional gaffe like using the word “million” instead of “thousand” is not a sign of dementia.

While I too was sure I saw a wire, sometimes we see wrong. I Am certain the image in my kids optical illusion book is moving, but it isn’t even though I saw it move.

Google “Fact check: False ‘evidence’ of Biden being wired or using earpiece ”
where they have clearer images where it does in fact look like a crease .

If you really want to go down the rabbit hole , search for images of Donald Trump’s neural stimulator nutty conspiracy theories aren’t limited to one side.

Quay- knowing definitions related to speech has bothing to do with being able to descern between the 2. When we evaluate patients for dementia, i don’t think we’ve ever accidently confused it with a stutter. Also, your comment was about telling your neighbors kid who stutters he should be checked for dementia, and know your example is substituting words. You do realize that isn’t in the “stutter” catagory, right? So your original comment was a cut and paste and then you move on to something else mid conversation? Does anyone think about what they say or do people carry around party statements to interject into arguements?

In response to your injection 😉, i was really bummed by amils response and now yours. I thought i saw something pretty clearly and asked a sincere question. I thought i was getting a personally constructed cognitively based response and now i find out i got a googled answer. Why? Why google when you can look at something and just give me your assessment?

When i asked you covid questions you answered from your heart and brain. You didn’t tell me what google said to respond. Why is it so hard to just strip people down to their personal selves and hear their impressions of something as stupid as this?

And your end with a request to google trump, as if that has any shaichus to my question, just validates everything i just typed.

“I thought i saw something pretty clearly and asked a sincere question.”

And I give you a sincere reply. Here is is again: That what you “though you saw pretty clearly” (and I did as well) was more likely a crease.
Now obviously why would you believe me? SO I directed you to a clearer image, hence google (I cant post the link to image here)

“Why google when you can look at something and just give me your assessment?”

Because eyes can be deceived. It DID look like a wire no argument there.
We can’t always give an assessment just based on how things seem. Eyes can be deceived . Still images can appear to move, creases can look like wires. Just looking at one (blurry) image doesnt always give a full picture)

So I looked for more images. and it looks pretty clearly like a crease and not a wire.

I’m not sure why this isnt satisfying.
Im directing you to a clearer picture where it looks like a crease and not a wire

“When i asked you covid questions you answered from your heart and brain.”
Only if I new the answer. IF I didn’t, Of course I googled, if I wasn’t sure. And sorted through the responses

“And your end with a request to google trump, as if that has any shaichus to my question,”

It does it shows that pictures can be deceiving.

What would be the point of a wire? A wire usually refers to a microphone or recording device on the body, which obviously wouldn’t help Biden. He supposedly needed to get help not secretly transmit audio of a live debate. If you’re speculating that the wire was related to some kind of receiver on his body that relayed someone’s voice to a hidden earpiece, that sounds like 1980’s radio shack era technology. Also, if Biden was in fact wearing some kind of hidden device with a wire, wouldn’t someone think to put it under his shirt rather than over the front of his shirt where it could be seen if his jacket shifted. And also, a campaign with 500m on hand would probably spend the additional $20 to get the wireless version of whatever the device was.

But as a yom tov treat, can you make this exception?

Could you look for cleanrer images (or video where you can see the “wire” dissolve into his shirt, though i guess that just means he switched to a wireless transmitter )

I’m curious if after looking at clearer images you still think was wire

Ubiq- I asked her because all i wanted was a thoughtful answer, not a megilla on related political topics, no offense.

“I know you dont like googling, and you don’t like changing your mind once it’s made up.”

Not fair and not true. I don’t mind google for information but if i ask someone for their thoughts or opinion (educated or off the cuff) it means i want to hear their thoughts or opinion. Not the hock of the day, political mantra or prepared cut and paste from google. I like hearing real thoughts, learning what drives people and their comments, and understanding things i hear that i never thought of. Which leads to me changing my mind if applicable, opening my options, giving me perspective and i will always, gladly pursue that. I don’t know if you decided i am not flexible because you witnessed me not convinced by unconvincing arguments, or if it’s just a mistaken impression, but i will always seek more opinions on something as long as people are engaged, not spewing, and are listening as well as sharing.

    No mt offended at all.

This is a new tactic (over past months) of yours you ask a loaded question and when people point out the premise is incorrect you get annoyed thst they aren’t answering your question.

I’m not cutting and pasting from Google. Im directing you to a clearer image thst shows what you (and I) thought was a wire is more likely a crease.
This isn’t a long megillah, nor hock of the day. It is a direct and concise answer to your question. Namely that your premise is likely mistaken . I pointed you to clearer pictures, from your comments it doesn’t sound like you looked (hence ”
. I don’t know if you decided i am not flexible because you witnessed me not convinced by unconvincing arguments)

“but i will always seek more opinions on something”
Did you seek out clearer images of the “wire”?

    #1906432

My premise wasn’t wrong. I saw a wire and was told it wasn’t a wire. I wanted to know what she thought it was and i got a response from some youtuber that was posted on google. I can do that too, but i wanted her own answer. I wanted to hear what a mild mannered person, who doesn’t usually resort with a knee jerk pre written response thought on her own about it.

Regarding my “new tactic” – as displayed above i don’t give two hoots about most of these topics, i find it boring and i hate aggressive “conversations”. My questions are usually about the emotional or psychological mechanics behind the posters words. Is that odd? probably, but my friends in real life are used to it. Here, most people can’t hear a sound beyond those they expect to hear so they start shoving content at me and all i wanted to know was their motives for taking the side they take, or for chosing to express it in the way they do.

I have had a very hard time with this in conversations with you because you usually do that as well. Like this wire thing. I did check youtube, which was how i found out that instead of giving me her thoughts, she gave me the “biden defense” and i found it disappointing. You are still going to insist i care about the wire, or biden or trump. I don’t. I just was beyond curious to know what someone who sees no wrong in biden will think if they see something odd. Will they expetience cognitive dissonance, will they say, oh that’s odd, will they entertain the idea that maybe it was a wire? I’m asking a personal question about thoughts, motives and opinion. I wasn’t asking about biden or his wire. And for darn sure i didn’t mention trump. But you did anyway.

Please tell me you finally get it. If not, read it to your wife, maybe she can help me along.

P.s. If your response has the word biden, trump, debate or youtube than you definitely didn’t get it 😒

    Not odd at al!

In fact we are a bit similar in that regard.

Originally the only topics I got involved in where ones such as these. I dropped out a bit lately (except for HCQ though eve there most of my comments were limited to one study which said x and a person insisting it said y and that x meant 7) ) for the same reason, these topics are boring and repetitive.

This was interesting to me though (which is why I commented) . when a person maintains a crease is a wire, would they be willing to look at evidence to the contrary? would they still insist it was a wire? would they change the subject and say oh I don’t really care about wires?

I may be odd too but THIS is the stuff I find fascinating

The answer is straight forward. If you look at clear image it is a crease. THAT is the answer to your original question

I too love understanding different views. So help me understand yoru view

If I ask ” Why would someone support Trump if he refuses to condemn white supremacists”

In your view replying “What do you mean he did condemn them, he said “sure” when asked to condemn”
Isnt answering the question since the question was really “what would someone who sees no wrong in Trump think if they hear something odd” Not did he condemn or not. Is that correct?

“Not only did i answer your irrelevent question,”

I’m so sorry, I cant find your reply. Do you mind pointing me in the direction.
