It will show that there was a coordinated effort to overturn the 2020 election
It was coordinated by Trump, his Administration, his Family, his personal Lawyers, Republican Senators and Congressmen, Republican Lawyers, Fox news hosts , Right wing media , Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and MAGA members.
Fox announced it won’t cover the hearings on the January 6th insurrection. Conclusive proof that Fox isn’t NEWS at all.
Fox “News” ran 1,098 primetime segments on Benghazi from the attack until the committee hearings, which they carried live for over 7 hours.
Fox “News” was directly involved in the January 6 Insurrection and they are terrified for Americans to hear the truth.
June 8, 2022 10:00 pm at 10:00 pm #2094781ujmParticipantThe so-called “hearings” are simply political theater. It is worthy of airtime only on Comedy Central.
June 8, 2022 10:00 pm at 10:00 pm #2094782🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAbsolutely brilliant! Did you get that from a bathroom stall or were you watching one of AOC’s instigram live segments. Fascinating.
Can’t wait to hear more Trump updates from those who just can’t stop thinking about him….
June 8, 2022 11:47 pm at 11:47 pm #2094815GadolhadorahParticipant“Can’t wait to hear more Trump updates from those who just can’t stop thinking about him…”
Then make sure you have your VCR set to record each episode so you can play your favorite Trumpkopf moments of insanity over and over again. I’m especially looking forward to the testimony where he apparently was hiding in the upstairs residence lav watching on TV and kvelling as the rioters were beating the Capital Police as one family member and staffer after another begged him to tell them to stand down in between text messages from Sean Hannity and the rest of the Fox news chevrah worrying about his “legacy”.
June 8, 2022 11:58 pm at 11:58 pm #2094822🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantGH – since I don’t have a TV and have no interest in yet another kangaroo show, can you please call me when they get to the testimonies of Brian siknik and the other 5 officers when they describe in detail their murders at the hands of the mob, as well as the news clips retelling that story over and over and over for the next month. I’d hate to miss it.
June 9, 2022 2:12 am at 2:12 am #2094846n0mesorahParticipantDear Syag,
There were 138 injuries. Several concussions, burns, and broken bones. And who knows how many cases of long-term trauma. One death and four suicides. This was a singular event in the history of American Policing. A few hundred police without proper gear holding off thousands of rioters with stun guns, bear spray, metal bars, etc, for hours. Retreat and regroup was not an option. It was horrible.
June 9, 2022 2:12 am at 2:12 am #2094847n0mesorahParticipantDear Jack,
In your assessment, it’s all very simple and straightforward. No reason to waste a Congressional Committee on it. Just in straight to the Justice Department with an easy case.
June 9, 2022 2:21 am at 2:21 am #2094851🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantn0m- i am prefacing this with the statement that it was indeed awful. It was wrong. I am not supporting what occurred.
Now my point. You speak very intelligently and confidently. I used to conflate that with being correct and accurate. I don’t believe you have your facts or story straight. I also don’t have reason to believe this hearing will be honest based on past performance. I also don’t believe that people who think as jackk thinks will ever accept anything they don’t want to believe even if undisputable facts emerge. I strongly believe I will not have that problem. Bez”H.
We’ll either find out, or we won’t.June 9, 2022 7:54 am at 7:54 am #2094888jackkParticipantOn December 31, 2020, a week before the insurrection, Hannity texted Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows, expressing deep concern that Trump’s efforts to overturn the election could result in mass resignations: “We can’t lose the entire WH counsel’s office. I do NOT see January 6 happening the way he is being told. After the 6 th. [sic] He should announce will lead the nationwide effort to reform voter integrity. Go to Fl and watch Joe mess up daily. Stay engaged. When he speaks people will listen.”
On the evening of January 5, 2021, Hannity again texted Meadows warning against Trump’s pressure campaign on then-Vice President Mike Pence to nullify Joe Biden’s victory: “I’m very worried about the next 48 hours.” He added: “Pence pressure. WH counsel will leave.”
As the violence was unfolding on January 6, 2021, Hannity texted Meadows about Trump calling off the mob of frenzied supporters who stormed the Capitol: “Can he make a statement? Ask people to leave the Capitol,” he said in one message. Hannity added: “Ask people to peacefully leave the Capitol.”June 9, 2022 7:55 am at 7:55 am #2094889jackkParticipantMark, the president needs to tell people in the Capitol to go home,” Ms. Ingraham wrote. “This is hurting all of us. He is destroying his legacy.”
Mr. Kilmeade echoed that concern, texting Mr. Meadows: “Please, get him on TV. Destroying everything you have accomplished.”
Afterward, on their shows, Laura Ingraham spread the false claim of antifa involvement
June 9, 2022 7:55 am at 7:55 am #2094896jackkParticipantThe reason why all America tuned in on May 17th 1973 to the Watergate Hearings is because there was no Fox news.
If fox news would have been around, the Republicans would have used every excuse available to tell America to not tune in.
Marc, the traitor, Rubio would have said , did we hold hearing for the protests against the Viet Nam war?June 9, 2022 8:08 am at 8:08 am #2094925🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantYou just completely contradicted your first post. Nice to see you’re coming around.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂thanks I enjoyed that
June 9, 2022 10:04 am at 10:04 am #2094956yaakov doeParticipantWhy not watch if you have a TV or listen on WCBS News Radio to hear what witnesses have to say before making a judgement?
If Fox were an actual news network they would also broadcast the hearings as they are newsworthy as the Watergate hearings were.June 9, 2022 10:13 am at 10:13 am #2094974🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantWhy should he if he already knows all the facts? And the conclusions? And the process?
That has always been my question all along.June 9, 2022 11:31 am at 11:31 am #2094993akupermaParticipantThe Committee needs a smoking gun (similar to what the Watergate Committee found) or the members of the Committee will end looking like fools. They need to find a witness who gives convincing evidence such as a recording of Trump saying “Well, how is the putsch going?” or perhaps a bunch of general and admirals testifying how Trump was sounding them out to stage a coup d’etat. A self-proclaimed “Shaman” (witchdoctor?) running around half naked in January wearing horns and carrying a broomstick is NOT sedition and hasn’t been considered treason since the middle ages (when casting spells on the king could get you burned at the stake). Unless the Democrats can come up with a way that Trump could have either recruited the military, and raised sufficient force to overcome the military, January 6 is not different that the many BLM riots (meaning the demonstrating is protected by the First amendment, and breaches of peace can be prosecuted in isolation).
June 9, 2022 11:33 am at 11:33 am #2095000smerelParticipant>>>The reason why all America tuned in on May 17th 1973 to the Watergate Hearings is because there was no Fox news.
Um.. no…
The Watergate committee was careful to include Nixon supporters and to avoid including any passionate Nixon enemies to ensure that they would conduct a fair and unbiased investigation. The January 6th committee did the exact opposite. The ONLY included passionate Trump enemies to ensure that it would NOT be a fair and unbiased investigation.
Therefore people trusted and cared about what the Watergate commission said. As opposed to the January 6th commission which is just political theater and people using their government platform to repeat to us what they already told us ad nauseum before the investigation even started
The January 6th commission has no purpose or focus other than creating more divisiveness, more distrust of the “others” in America, more of a precedent of the party in the majority using their power to as a political tool to conduct compelled interrogations of those who are in the minority etc.
That is terrible for the US and it’s future democracy as a whole.
Note I personally am a Trump opponent so don’t start lecturing me about how terrible Trump and Republicans are or assume I get my views from Fox News and Sean Hannity. Even so I still the January 6th commission as a danger to America.
June 9, 2022 11:33 am at 11:33 am #2095004Amil ZolaParticipantI watched the entirety of the Watergate hearings. I’ll do the same with these hearings. The big difference is today there is legal marijuana.
June 9, 2022 11:34 am at 11:34 am #2095007ujmParticipantThis is pure Democrat political theater. Virtually the only networks carrying it are Democrat aligned and/or left-wing so-called “news” outlets, such as NBC/ABC/CBS/PBS/NPR etc., all having been spouting far left garbage for the last 60+ years.
June 9, 2022 11:34 am at 11:34 am #2095008erParticipantSyag- I think yaakov doe was addressing you. I will personally value your insights and opinions if I knew you watched it, than if you relied on your favorite media outlets to filter and spin the hearing and deciding for you what clips you can hear. If we then want to be critical and check facts, etc., fine. Most of us don’t have TVs but I’m sure there’s a way to view online. I do think watching will be much better than radio since I hear it’s multimedia. If any of us miss it tonight, could we all agree not to listen to the pundits or opine either way until we see it for ourselves?
June 9, 2022 12:01 pm at 12:01 pm #2095022🍫Syag LchochmaParticipanter – yes, I also felt like he might have been addressing me but without having read my post.
Your post is wonderful. I’ve said that so many times but find no takers. For the record, I have no favorite media outlets, I don’t listen to any talk/news shows or pundits or podcasts, I definitely can’t stomach spinners and I have already mentioned why I probably won’t be following this one as I usually do. Knowing that a dossier can be created with falsified information and warrants then produced with falsified information and an investigation being opened on the falsified information means I can’t know anything is real. And knowing there are intelligent people here who are willing to discount facts because they don’t like them means that I don’t have this platform for info either. It’s frustrating and sad. And expressing how sad it makes me that I can’t find real facts – a pretty non partisan personal statement – has only garnered me repeated nastiness, rudeness, name-calling and negativity from some of the lovely, allegedly frum posters here.
Go figureJune 9, 2022 12:02 pm at 12:02 pm #2095021yaakov doeParticipantI want to hear the witnesses including the ones whose testimony was taken earlier and recorded before I come to any conclusion about who bears responsibility for the events of January 6th. I want to know who brought the gallows and who originated the idea of hanging the Vice President of the United States. I’d also like to know who planted the bombs the evening prior to the assault. I would also like to know why a Congressman from Alabama thought it necessary to wear body armor when addressing the assemblage. There is also the unanswered question of why members of the Proud Boys stocked weapons in a motel outside of DC awaiting word on when to enter DC armed.
I find it hard to believe that Trump planned on marching to the Capital and that he was watching the rioting on TV that afternoon refusing to act. So many unanswered questions that may be answered by witnesses, texts and recordings.
I’m rescheduling my Thursday night learning to listen to the hearing on radio in order to be an informed American.June 9, 2022 12:19 pm at 12:19 pm #2095027n0mesorahParticipantDear Syag,
I listed the facts on the suffering of the police. I have no idea what you are disputing. I did not post anything anyone’s guilt or any crimes committed. Please elaborate or retract.

June 9, 2022 12:20 pm at 12:20 pm #2095031n0mesorahParticipantThere is a misunderstanding on this thread. The committee is not going to press box charges. The goal was to gather all the information and preserve it. For legal and historical reference. The success of these hearings depend solely on how impartial it is in it’s presentation. Nobody thinks Pelosi is capable of being impartial. This all rests on the confidence of Cheney. Quite a responsibility for the future of the Constitution.
June 9, 2022 12:21 pm at 12:21 pm #2095032smerelParticipantLet me tell you in advance what they will tell us “Trump conspired to overthrows Democracy … he and other Republicans… this is a danger to American democracy… we need to….”
They been telling us that for over a year and a half already. Even before the committee started the committee members told us that. So if I left anything out let me know tomorrow …
Does anyone believe that if they came across counterevidence to the narrative in the first paragraph above or even non counterevidence but something that takes the blame off Trump and Republicans exclusively and puts some on their friends instead they will share that with us?
June 9, 2022 12:21 pm at 12:21 pm #2095033🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantYaakov- excellent questions. I would love answers to those. And not just who planted those bombs, but why it wasn’t pursued when they had video. And I also would love to know why security was denied, then delayed when requested etc. I’m not building theories, I would just like facts.
June 9, 2022 1:11 pm at 1:11 pm #2095043n0mesorahParticipantDear Smerel,
Your probably wrong. They already tried to impeach him over this. And they did not go so far then.
Also, why would they gather so much evidence and hear over a thousand testimonials, to just go with such a basic premise?
Third, they do not have the authority to press any charges.
You are saying that you already know what will happen and won’t bother finding out for yourself. Why would anyone think that you would believe them if they tell you that your wrong tomorrow?
June 9, 2022 2:44 pm at 2:44 pm #2095094smerelParticipant>>>Also, why would they gather so much evidence and hear over a thousand testimonials, to just go with such a basic premise?
Because they are Looking for more excuses to harass and more information to incriminate their political opponents and sifting through it to make sure to AVOID presenting any other evidence. The January 6th committee is already guilty of presenting altered documents to the public. Does anyone think they would hesitate to do so again?
Does anyone think that if the Republicans made a similar investigation into the Democrats who supported The Steele Dossier or other completely baseless and outright fabricated attempts to remove the legally elected president of the US (Trump) it would look so different from what the January 6 commission will tell us?
I don’t watch the Republican or Democratic national conventions because I’m not interested in party line propaganda meant to whip the party faithful into a frenzy. Any important new proposals being made I’ll hear about the next day. What makes this any different?
June 9, 2022 3:06 pm at 3:06 pm #2095125commonsaychelParticipantFrankly I find an attempted assination of a Supreme Court Justice a lot more worrisome to American democracy then what happened 2 1/2 years ago with a bunch of lunny tunes
June 9, 2022 5:01 pm at 5:01 pm #2095156n0mesorahParticipantDear Common,
That is a great comparison. Though this individual is mentally afflicted. While the storm the Capitol crowd, were largely ignorant.
June 9, 2022 5:02 pm at 5:02 pm #2095158Reb EliezerParticipantCS, I don’t agree as when a Supreme Court Justice is assassinated we can replace him by another one but it is very hard to replace our democracy.
June 9, 2022 5:04 pm at 5:04 pm #2095163🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantReb E – you missed the boat there. It wasn’t about losing a supreme court judge, it was about an assassin going to a judges house to murder him and his wife and children because he didn’t like the vote he was going to make. You don’t find that to be a problem?
June 9, 2022 5:16 pm at 5:16 pm #2095165erParticipantujm: “That’s like advocating you cannot have an opinion on Hitler unless you read Mein Kampf.”
I think you are trying to say that you don’t need to prove Hitler is a rasha since it’s already well-established and a forgone conclusion? To us, yes. But U.S polls show a big chunk of Americans are misinformed about Hitler and the holocaust. For these people I would encourage they learn about the facts about this rasha since they are most at risk for actually believing misinformation and revisionist propaganda. I sincerely believe that anyone who gives Trump a full pass for Jan 6 is (i) is similarly misinformed (whether by “news” or social circle) or (ii) doesn’t care anyway and wouldn’t mind much if America became a true dictatorship. For those who fall into (i), yes, the hearing would be helpful. And then go hear what the other side says AFTERwards.Syag: I understand dossier was flawed. But it was not what started the investigation. Investigation started July 2016 after some troubling (and verified) info came to light that wasn’t mentioned at all in the dossier. The investigators learned of the dossier later that September. And yes, shame on Hillary for lots of things. If she became president it would be correct to hold her to the same scrutiny as Trump was and any other president, and get the facts.
June 9, 2022 5:26 pm at 5:26 pm #2095168🍫Syag LchochmaParticipanter – correct, I meant surveilance, not the big investigation. But I think you understood the point I was trying to make, not about the details of the dossier or the investigation into trump etc, just the simpler piece of procuring, passing along and using information that is fake, known to be fake etc. We have seen adequate evidence of phony evidence and sources, and abuse of authority of chairmen (regardless of the issues being investigated) to know that we have to be skeptical and careful what we believe. It’s really a shame and undermines a lot of things we need to rely on.
June 9, 2022 5:27 pm at 5:27 pm #2095169yaakov doeParticipantThe committee is gathering evidence. Many who went to the Capital were like lemmings not conspirators, and there were the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers. If people have actual evidence that refutes the committee’s evidence I’m sure it will find it’s way in the media. Actual evidence not supposition upon supposition upon supposition as in the 2000 Mules video.
This is more akin to the Warren commission than a political convention. I would expect we ill learn facts that haven’t yet come out. Watch or listen tonight. Even Newsmax is carrying it.June 9, 2022 6:12 pm at 6:12 pm #2095173erParticipantTo the extent dossier info wasn’t true, this came to light. And it’s a relief the investigation was not based on the dossier. Criminal trials work the same way: put forth the evidence you have. If on the balance it doesn’t hold enough water, defendant should walk. And if the original charge was based off something egregiously wrong he also walks free even if other facts show criminality. So why not look at the evidence brought tonight and see what they got? If 1 or 2 smaller allegations turn out false, at least you’ll hear the true stuff before the pundits and our social circles spin it. Remember, it’s not just the dead leads Trump supporters will be amplifying. They’ll twist the truth too.
I don’t expect a smoking gun. Someone asked Cheney if the additional evidence shows Trump conspired, and she said she believes so. If it was smoking gun she would have answered “yes” to get more people to tune in.June 9, 2022 7:33 pm at 7:33 pm #2095187Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantThis hearings are a great idea. 18 months of investigation to get hearings as close as possible to the elections. If I were a D- congressperson, I would not waste such a great show on already lost midterms – unless they have a secret plan to get free oil from Putin. Keep it going until the Biden-Trump re-run.
June 9, 2022 7:54 pm at 7:54 pm #2095200🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantSo the hearings begin tonight and it will be televised unedited in full form so we can see all of it for ourselves? And hear all the questions and responses and evidence so we can draw conclusions?
June 9, 2022 11:04 pm at 11:04 pm #2095245Amil ZolaParticipantSyag, that’s what I saw, unedited feed from the hearing. Unless there was some sooper secret digital compromises happening that we mortals would not notice.
June 9, 2022 11:07 pm at 11:07 pm #2095247🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantnot quite sure if you are being funny or condescending but I was told by someone that it was just excerpts and clips so I was trying to clarify from people who might know.
June 9, 2022 11:10 pm at 11:10 pm #2095252commonsaychelParticipant@Amil, Gas is $5 a gallon plus, my food bill doubled in the past 18 months, do I care about what a few nut jobs did back then? NO
June 9, 2022 11:29 pm at 11:29 pm #2095254🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantSo someone who watched it just told me it is actually not full presentations of the interviews and depositions, but rather selected sections and clips with lots of narrative. And considering there is not a single soul in the room to ‘cross examine’ as is normally done in hearings I am not understanding what we are supposed to be gaining from this hearing different than what has already been expressed and leaked all year. Can someone who does not mind communicating kindly please clarify for me what will be presented? What can possibly be accomplished in regard to answers?
June 9, 2022 11:30 pm at 11:30 pm #2095255ujmParticipantThe “hearings” are just a dog and pony show.
June 10, 2022 12:40 am at 12:40 am #2095263🍫Syag LchochmaParticipanti was hoping for actual information, not rhetoric
June 10, 2022 1:26 am at 1:26 am #2095265Reb EliezerParticipantThe committee hearings gives the impression that Trump was fiddling as Rome was burning the way Nero did.
June 10, 2022 8:11 am at 8:11 am #2095275commonsaychelParticipant@ Reb E, and lets say he did, how does that effect things 18 months later? I don’t care if Trump claims the election was stolen or the fact that you had 100 nuts running to the Capital, it is not going to make the streets safer, bring down the price of food and gas or bring peace in Ukraine.
PS it looks like is a none story in the vast majority places that had GOP primaries.June 10, 2022 8:36 am at 8:36 am #2095288🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAdding to my question, is it even possible for like minded people to present two sides of a story?
I’m not understanding why this isn’t bothering everyone who wants answers to what actually happened.June 10, 2022 10:22 am at 10:22 am #2095315ujmParticipantReb Eliezer, Nero was a tzadik and a ger tzedek; Trump is an Oheiv Yisroel and an American hero.
