January 17, 2011 2:28 am at 2:28 am #843440☕️coffee addictParticipantyou can go cry with my brother lol
whats his number
It’s ok if Hashem wanted them to lose it’s better now than in the superbowl (when that happened in 2007 I was really depressed)
January 17, 2011 2:19 pm at 2:19 pm #843441Jack DanielsMemberIT WAS AWESOME!!!!
January 17, 2011 10:19 pm at 10:19 pm #843442Sister BearMemberelik – you know that thing you posted before about Mark Sanchez and that little boy who died??
G-d is probably rewarding him (and us) with the win!!! (May it continue on to the SuperBowl)
btw, is praying for the Jets to win, acceptable???
January 17, 2011 10:23 pm at 10:23 pm #843443Jack DanielsMemberi don’t know sis but if yes let me know..
what do you think of a jets/packers superbowl? not so farfetched after all..
January 17, 2011 10:25 pm at 10:25 pm #843444YW Moderator-80Memberis praying for the Jets to win, acceptable?
not in my opinion
January 17, 2011 10:26 pm at 10:26 pm #843445Jack DanielsMembermod 80 you a jets fan?
January 17, 2011 10:28 pm at 10:28 pm #843446YW Moderator-80Memberi dont even know who the jets are
well i know now they are a football team
before this thread for all i knew it could have been basketball
January 17, 2011 10:31 pm at 10:31 pm #843447WolfishMusingsParticipantPersonally, I’ve always favored the Sharks over the Jets. IMHO, Riff and Action were no match for Bernardo and Chino. 🙂
The Wolf
January 17, 2011 10:34 pm at 10:34 pm #843448Sister BearMemberwow i feel bad for you sister bear, because your family wont be fully happy either way
Whoops didn’t see that, sorry. Ya well basically it’s only one person who really goes for the Pats (he was sooooooo upset!! lol)
I hope its not, cuz during the game at those really tense moments, I was praying 🙂
The Jets/Packers superbowl – ain’t that far-fetched.
A lesson I learned from football – never give up home, cuz it ain’t over till its over 🙂
Jack Daniels – you gonna have faith in the Jets this game?
January 17, 2011 10:57 pm at 10:57 pm #843449Sister BearMemberGuys, Roethlisberger is quarterback for the Steelers.
He should’ve been evicted from the NFL cuz of what he did, but since he wasn’t, maybe Hashem will punish him and make he loose 🙂
Is that asking for too much?
January 17, 2011 11:25 pm at 11:25 pm #843450TheGoqParticipantbears jets superbowl sounds very sweet
January 18, 2011 12:12 am at 12:12 am #843451winny1ParticipantIn an earlier post in this thread I called the JETS part of the ‘Elite Eight’. Please allow me to revise that to the “Fantastic Four”.
2 more wins guys.
January 18, 2011 12:28 am at 12:28 am #843452Sister BearMemberWhatever Jets sounds good too me lol
January 18, 2011 1:36 am at 1:36 am #843453Josh31ParticipantNext Sunday they will run into the Steel Curtain.
January 18, 2011 2:05 am at 2:05 am #843454stickynoteMemberI think all you guys need to chill… too much sports talk just calm it and dont let it run your life! You can enjoy a good game but you could learn how to move on in life too.
“is praying for the Jets to win, acceptable?” by sayin this sentence it shows whats important to you in life.. i personally would pray for things such as health, family…and ect..but if thats what you feel is important in life so go ahead and daven for them.
Its not that i dont enjoy a good game, its just that im not obsessed with it! there is a fine line.. i hope im not coming out too strong and knocking anyone but thats my humble feelings on this matter.

I was waiting for someone to say that. 🙂
“Never trust a poster by his posts.” I enjoy watching a sports game but I have way more important things going on in my life than that. I was just wondering if it’s weird. When I pray I pray for better things, like my health, my family, my friends… I was just curious to see if it was considered a bizayon or not.
It just so happens to be that this thread is sports thread, and the Jets won a major game YESTERDAY, it’s not like we’re talking about it a week later or whatever.
(I’m talking for myself here. I don’t know anything about the other posters obsession.)

January 18, 2011 3:32 pm at 3:32 pm #843460nfgo3MemberWill a Jets win in the Superbowl make the jets over the Five Towns and Farrahk Awai sound any better?
January 18, 2011 4:03 pm at 4:03 pm #843461apushatayidParticipant“why waste your time on this gashimus?”
Your absolutely correct. It is WAAAAY better to waste ones time discussing chulent recipes, second marriages, the reasons for divorce and even trying to identify joseph.
January 18, 2011 4:09 pm at 4:09 pm #843462mikehall12382Memberwhy waste your time on this gashimus?…well for one thing some of us don’t see it that way:)
January 18, 2011 10:21 pm at 10:21 pm #843463fedex11204MemberGuys I told you about the Pack this is clearly the best team from the remaining 4 teams and Aaron Rodgers is playing at such an incredibly high level that it would be pretty had to see this team losing from here on out…Packers and the Steel Curtain should be a good one. As far as the Jets go the only way they can beat the Steelers is you have to spread them out and go 5 wide and run off your pass formation. If you think you can run against this wall then you will find yourself 3rd and long all game.

im closed minded about this also but have fun
by the way my last post was plagiarized i never heard of aaron rogers before
January 19, 2011 12:52 am at 12:52 am #843468fedex11204MemberRight now if there was a draft taken from the NFL Aaron Rogers would no doubt me my #1 pick given his age albeit he has got a long way to go to reach the Super Special Peyton Manning and Tom Brady but right now given his age and the level he is at he is my # 1 pick.
January 19, 2011 12:54 am at 12:54 am #843469fedex11204MemberI was wondering since when is the moderator so well versed in all things NFL

He is the guy formerly known as Mr. Rogers.
January 19, 2011 7:22 pm at 7:22 pm #843473KACH 613MemberSteelers 27
Jets 10
January 19, 2011 11:07 pm at 11:07 pm #843474Baruch BohmParticipantKach 613:
-Yes the Colts defense allowed them to drive for the winning score but the Jets also held the Colts offense to only 16 points.
-Yes the Pats defense is flawed and as you point out the Jets didn’t let Brady throw the ball- that was the game-plan, tempt the Pats to run to contain Brady and the passing game.
-The idea that there is no way the steelers will lose the game is preposterous- the Jets already beat the Steelers this season, they also beat the Patriots (twice) who throttled the Steelers.
*I won’t guarantee a Jets win but they certainly have a good shot so I’ll predict Jets 16 – Steelers 13.
January 24, 2011 2:11 am at 2:11 am #843475☕️coffee addictParticipantsorry guys jets are going down tonight

This is the proof that not all possible Kal V’Homers can be used!!!
January 24, 2011 5:31 pm at 5:31 pm #843481CharlieSmallMemberShould be an awesome SB.
Pack vs Steelers its like a throw back game. Both teams play solid defense and have a decent offense. I give the advantage to the Pack. Should be an awesome game, can’t wait.
January 25, 2011 4:12 am at 4:12 am #843482arcParticipantI give advantage to the steelers. playoff experienced and they make the plays when they need to
January 25, 2011 5:16 am at 5:16 am #843483I can only tryMemberRequiem for a Green Dream
The green-and-whites blew into town, confident and proud
Led by their Sanchise quarterback and by coach Rex the Loud
A brief stopover in Steeltown was all that they expected
The championship all but won, with presidential honors
The opposition stood no chance, soon they would be goners
And then the game was underway, quickly the Jets were grounded
Their running game was being stuffed, their defense getting pounded
On both sides of the ball, before a shocked Jet nation
Halftime came, not fast enough; by twenty-one they trailed
Comeback tries from such a hole had been tried and failed
The second half; a waste of time (or so some fans thought)
But the battered Jets still had their pride (would it go for naught?)
The Jets had at last woken up, the Pittsburgh attack blunted
Momentum quickly shifted, now the Steelers were the hunted
A safety and a TD, the Jets were still alive
But time was running out, and they still trailed by five
An onsides kick (it seemed to me) was the obvious decision
But instead they kicked it deep, a move worthy of derision
Oh, brilliant coach! What a bad choice! Worthy of a bumpkin.
No more J-E-T-S chants led by Fireman Ed
January 26, 2011 5:15 am at 5:15 am #843484Josh31ParticipantTomorrow evening it will have been 3 days and an appropriate time to console the Jets fans.
January 26, 2011 9:28 pm at 9:28 pm #843486fedex11204MemberGuys I have been talking up the Packers for weeks now …I have to say now that I told you so actually made a few dollars on a packers futures bet.

January 15, 2012 8:35 am at 8:35 am #843491YW Moderator-42ModeratorSpooky fact: the amount of yards given up by the jets in their last game, 376, exactly equals Rex Ryan’s weight!
