Conservatives in the United States, in general, are pro-Israel. When someone in their ranks even is slightly not pro-Israel they tend to throw them out i.e. Buchanan and Duke were forced out of the Republican Party and unto third-party candidacies.
OTOH, Liberals are less pro-Israel and even fully accept anti-semites in their ranks, like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Cynthia McKinney, etc.
Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann are perhaps the most pro-Israel from the pack.
Rick Perry on Israel
Gov. Rick Perry visited Israel more than any candidate. One of his first acts after being elected agriculture commissioner in 1991 was to create the Texas-Israel Exchange, which promoted information and research sharing.
He told the Jerusalem Post that he wants Texans to “strengthen their support for Israel and keep Israel in their prayers.”
There is no party called the Tea Party. Its a movement mostly in the republican party concerning taxes and spending. The question is rather if indiviual candidates associating with the Tea Party are pro Isreal and it needs to be answerd on an individual basis.
