This happened to me today, and I am wondering if its just me or does it happen often??
I was on a jewish bus going from the city to another city and i told the bus driver i need to get off at the yeshiva…he said okay its a few more minutes…about 10 minutes later, he stops and says to me did you want to get off by the yeshiva?? we passed it already and he dropped me off in the middle of NO WHERE!!!! i walked about 10-15 minutes to the yeshiva. I dont mind walking I do it all the time, i feel like it was extremely rude of the bus driver to not announce the stop….especially since I went over to him and specified that I needed to get off at that stop…imagine he wouldnt have seen me in the rear view mirror he woulda probably dropped me off 100 miles away from my stop.
Is it just me???

It’s a good idea to ask fellow passengers in addition to the driver. Or remind the driver every so often when you think you are getting close to your destination.

She was so upset and really believed it was, believe it or not, an anti- “white” attitude on his part (black driver). He apparently treated the black passengers in an obviously different way. In your case, it really could have been an oversight on his part. Unless he does that repeatedly, you have may have to attribute it to error. I agree with am YISRAEL. It’s probably best to ask several people to cover yourself.

August 30, 2011 3:07 pm at 3:07 pm #803305TheGoqParticipantDrivers on the non jewish buses will miss a stop once in a blue moon it happens you have to be alert. You should not chepper them usually they will remember.

August 30, 2011 8:48 pm at 8:48 pm #803308minyan galMemberI consider this to be a big problem. Had this happened to me, I would have been in big trouble because I cannot walk that far with my bad back and 2 artificial hips. I wonder what would have happened if I had been the passenger.
