I think that the U.S. politicians that made the Iranian nuclear deal should be held accountable!
They have made Israel, the US, and the world less safe.
Thanks to President Trump for pulling out of it.May 8, 2018 8:25 pm at 8:25 pm #1517958HealthParticipantWho agrees with Obama rebuttal on Trump’s pullout?

What does “held accountable” that mean? They may deserve long prison sentences, but we know that nothing will happen to them. Giving them publicity will only help them to make lots of money from books and speaking fees.

The problem being that Iran said that they won’t renegotiate! Now either you keep it the way it is now, or toss it entirely.
May 9, 2018 6:25 am at 6:25 am #1518020ToiParticipantLaskern- That’s the very sort of diplomacy that got the US stuck in this dumb deal. And I have a quote from R Shneur Kotler ztzl that says the opposite. The bread in Lakewood yeshiva was consistently infested with ants, from the baking stage in the local bakery. The bochurim had to check each piece of bread before eating it, and the situation became unmanageable. They kept trying to figure out an eitzah, it never worked, and they kept eating the bug infested bread. When they went to R Shneur for advice, he simply said, until you passel the bakery, you won’t find an eitza. First, decide that no matter what, the bakery is not an option, and you’ll be able to work something else out. Just like this stupid deal.
May 9, 2018 8:51 am at 8:51 am #1518040Reb EliezerParticipantThe comparison is not the same. The bread was not edible, but the Iran deal is good but it could be better. Now we have nothing. They can do whatever they want without oversight.

The Iran Nuke deal is untenable!
They continue to develop Ballistic missiles.
IMHO, this Nuke deal is terrible for the Western World!
From a website called Against Nuclear Iran:“Since the signing of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear deal, Tehran’s ballistic missile program continues to pose a serious threat to the United States, its allies, and its strategic interests in the Middle East. Iran has test-fired nuclear-capable ballistic missiles at least ten times since July 2015, despite a UN Security Council resolution, approved along with the nuclear accord, which explicitly calls on Iran to refrain from such activity. Iran has shown no signs of slowing the development of its ballistic missile program, which is inextricably intertwined with its nuclear program. In fact, long-range ballistic missiles have historically always been developed in unison a nuclear weapons program. Iran has invested heavily in its missile and space programs and is making every effort to make them more efficient and operational.”
May 9, 2018 8:16 pm at 8:16 pm #1518787Eli YParticipantLask; I’m surprised by your position. Iran has become far more aggressive since the deal.
Furthermore IMO, the deal in no way decreased the probability of Iran using or supplying nukes or their knowledge of them to our enemies. Nor does the probability rise now.

May 9, 2018 8:28 pm at 8:28 pm #1518806DovidBTParticipantThe existing “Iran deal” is a useless but expensive “feel good” measure. It’s on the same level as bulletproof backpacks.
