Put it in a bowl of rice.

This is known to work for phones though haven’t tried it with an ipod.

But the insides may be a bit scrambled. It’s not just water damage.

Put it on rinse cycle until all the non kosher songs are gone.

    Rice or beans.

Hope it has better luck than my ipod did…Now I am stuck with a sandisc..

But it’s not so bad, since it’s plastic it can be thrown any ammount of times and still work!

    Amazing!

    Rema711: “Shopping613 spoken by a true Einstein”

wht do you mean to say with this?

do you mean to say that she is repeating advice already written on the tread?

if so 1) she was adding on a new aspect, that beans also work. 2)you did the same thing by repeating A jew who cares advice.

or do you mean to say that her latter part (But it’s not so bad…) was obvious?

if so, she was saying that even though it would seem that a sansdisk would be a inferior chioce, it still has this pro over the ipod

so what are you trying to say?

shopping: talking about sansdisk vs ipod, im looking to get a sansdisk or ipod, can you (or anyone else) tell me the pros and cons about a sansdisk and where do get one for cheap?

    #1058340

Good! You shouldn’t have one. It’s shtus

    Ipod Nano

Expensive, only works with itunes, cannot move music from ipod back to computer without downloading or buying a special program, big, HD, gmaes (depending on what type) 24 hrs battery life on 5th or 6th gen. 30 for 7th. Glass, breakable easily, expensive to replace, comes with good earphones, clip/non-clip (depending which modle) touch,

    Sandisc

Cheap, plastic. Sandisc 10 hrs batter life, the sport is 25 hrs. (i dont like the layout of the sport, most people are complaining about it) not easily breakable, can transfer music from any type of file, just drag from your files on any computer, can put music from a sandisc back on computer, easy moving music. Clip on, earphones aren’t too good though. Choose how much GB you want with a mini memory card.

Also at least by me, frum schools and cities don’t like ipods since they have been associated with movies, and internet. (Even though not all can have, depending on your generation) Nice layout, easy to work with…

I bought mine in Israel…can’t help with that!

you get what you pay for. ipods will only break if you do what i did or theyll smash if you drive over them. otherwise you can chuck them at walls and they will still work.

the only sandisc i found are not even colour.

Rice is a pretty poor desiccant. There are a number of commercial products designed specifically to dry electronics (I think most are silica based). If it doesn’t work after the first time rinse it in distilled water and do a second drying session.
