Hi please specify strategies that one should/could use to stop such behavior….
January 1, 2013 5:36 am at 5:36 am #917325yosefc18MemberTheres not one solution because every “bully” has a different reason for doing this. If this is for your child or someone school aged, ill assume that because he chooses to express himself over the internet instead of in person to the kid hes bullying shows that he has some fear about what hes doing. Once you point out who the bully is, you should show your childs principal the evidence and everything he needs to reprimand the bully. Im sure the school will be helpful in stopping this.
January 2, 2013 4:15 am at 4:15 am #917326oomisParticipantIt does not limit itself only to children> Adults can be bullied, too. the internet is a wonderful thing, but it is a double edged sword.
January 2, 2013 4:54 am at 4:54 am #917327☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantOomis, he’s referring to the fact that a mod called him a troll. This threat indicates that the mod was right.
January 2, 2013 5:00 am at 5:00 am #917328yosefc18MemberTrue, but i was assuming it was a child in this case since the op didnt specify and its more common in kids. And in a childs case its easier to get under control with a cooperative school administration. As oppose to adults who would need to take legal action to stop it.
January 2, 2013 6:27 am at 6:27 am #917329HaLeiViParticipantDaas, are you implying that if someone complains about being mistreated it proves his guilt?
January 2, 2013 7:00 am at 7:00 am #917330NEEDIDEASMemberSadly i am refering to the “bullying issue” on this site as well as other sites where bullying behavior is becoming more common…
And people read these comments…. Someone has to speak up and not be afraid…. I actually stayed away from posting for a while .. i looked at some of the comments and decided even though you may call me names as you “called me a troll” i will still speak against such behavior…. I will speak for others i hope you will stop ….
About the word troll you should check the reference of the term

January 2, 2013 4:55 pm at 4:55 pm #917333hershiMemberDY: If you were away from school for a couple months and the day you came back your teacher announced to the class “the pig is back”, you wouldn’t feel bullied?
January 2, 2013 5:19 pm at 5:19 pm #917334NEEDIDEASMember“DaasYochid”
i dont think you mean that….
January 2, 2013 5:31 pm at 5:31 pm #917335apushatayidParticipantthis is too funny
January 3, 2013 7:19 am at 7:19 am #917336☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantHershi,
I wouldn’t open a thread about intetrnet bullying.
January 3, 2013 1:04 pm at 1:04 pm #917337hershiMemberWouldn’t you raise the issue with authority figures (parents, rebbeim) or even friends that you felt hurt? Why should this be different?
January 3, 2013 5:20 pm at 5:20 pm #917338☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant1) I don’t turn to anonymous strangers for advice (although asking non personal questions, such as where to repair an ipod, makes sense) .
2) In real life, you have to deal with people, so if you’re having an issue, you need to learn how to cope. If I felt like I was being bullied in the CR, and couldn’t tolerate it, I would just leave.
January 3, 2013 6:16 pm at 6:16 pm #917339zahavasdadParticipantDont answer the bully, Ignore them
