September 25, 2017 9:29 pm at 9:29 pm #1369730LightbriteParticipantRebYidd23, may Hashem help me rescue an insect in need, and may Hashem remind me to think of your when I b’esrat Hashem succeed in His mission to save a life.
PLEASE HASHEM… have mercy on me, when it comes to the insects that I prefer to safely avoid and may you please have us live separately ever after, happily. Thank you! And please surround RebYidd23’s bug killing desires with fake bugs. Thank you.
Shana tova and metukah, but the kind of sweetness that does not attract insects, or cavities.
Thank you 🙂

#Bug Lives MatterSeptember 25, 2017 11:01 pm at 11:01 pm #1369755LightbriteParticipantSome insects kill other insects…
I don’t know. I just know that sometimes I’ve been trapped too. In my life, I’ve been really really, Baruch Hashem, blessed to have seemingly out-of-nowhere miracles, where a human came and totally brought me to a safer place.
This wasn’t just once or twice. Many times. Many times, I’ve been that fly buzzing straight into the window. I’ve been that beetle on his back on the concrete step, dangling my limbs in the hot sun. So vulnerable.
You have no clue how much my life is really a series of Hashem keeping me safe by the hands of another human, more so than the typical nurturing that we all get from our environments.
B’esrat Hashem, I don’t bring diseases to people, or anyone. And yet, do you know how many people would write someone, like I am, as being a pest to society? I’m blessed because I was given a chance to become butterfly.
Hashem didn’t give every insect the chance to blossom in such a way.
September 25, 2017 11:02 pm at 11:02 pm #1369756LightbriteParticipantI’d be a liar if I said that I never kill insects. There are some insects that, oh boy, do I have no patience for, when it comes to them being near my family –like ticks, fleas and lice.
Still… when I see the pain and perseverance of an insect just trying to find home, and I help him or her get there, it’s such a gift from Hashem. For me, it’s so easy to see how to help, and to do it.
Sometimes when it seems like I’ve done everything to no avail, I think about how, in a second, one person can hand me the tool or show me the way to help myself find HOME.
Being able to do something BIG for someone small is a gift.
Thank you RebYidd23 💖
