    PBA: I have an idea for you. Take a look at the Yom Ha’atzma’ut Davening in the Rinas Yisrael siddur. I find parts of it silly and weird and I’m sure you will to. But it might help you get a grasp of the attitudes that people who aren’t against it have towards the Medinah.

    This is an evil group (women prayer) of people whose sole purpose of existence is to sin and to push their sinful cause onto people. It is a thought out deliberate choice of action or actions against God on the holiest place of the earth.

    Sure, if the netziv says that there is a mitzva for us to establish a frei state as part of the geulah process, I will readily admit that is what he says. And that you have some basis for your thinking.

    I still won’t agree with it, because my rebbeim don’t, and it is only a shitas yochid of the netziv.

    To seriously answer the question: Sort of. We’ve been waiting 2000 years for something. We’re still waiting for a lot of things. But we do have part of what we waited so long for.

    Not quite. HaShem’s long awaited Moshiach, and Geulah will have little to do with these “leaders” intervention. No. Nothing at all. Our Moshiach will probably be frum, Shomer Shabbos, and cause Yidden to serve HaShem better.

    It’s no secret how these “leaders”, “founding fathers” did everything in their power to uproot YiddishKite. b’Davka. And no, it’s no secret. How they worked on the impressionate boys and girls.. how they introduced blatant chilul shabbos to those shocked children… ripped off peyos, yarmulka.. I could go on and on.. no need.

    Point here is that anyone awaiting a Yiddishe Geula, a Yiddishe Moshiach will realize this is no connection at all. To the conrary the Moshiach will have to do his work “in spite of” his “helpers”.

    I think Rav Ovadia says this. He writes that this can’t be what we’ve been waiting for, although it is the beginning, or a step towards the Geula, as many Gedolim have said (—his words).
