popa, I also feel like it is a little impersonal to send out a mass text wishing the entire list a good yuntif. If you would like to wish me a good yuntif, feel free to do so but in a more personal way like sending out a personal text or even calling me might be nice. I don’t know if everyone agrees with this but I sure do:)

..so you must be a Bostoner Chusid, Rav Meir’s I presume (as opposed to Rav Pichos –Boro Park or Rav Naftali — Har Nof)? See now I know why I didn’t get any, because I am closer to Ger than Boston. My grandparents (and my brother) are shtarker Gerrer Chassidim, while it’s my father-in-law who is Bostoner.

Here’s another thing that bothers me about these mass texts erev r”h. When I answer it anyway since it’s the least I can do, they don’t even think of texting back. For some reason this bothers me a lot!! Am I wrong?

radio waves have mass.

i know this because they are composed of photons

photons are described as energy packets

and packets for sure have mass

did you ever see a packet of something just floating in the air?

however some other scientists say photons have no mass, at least no “rest mass”

Lots of things in physics don’t make sense.

For example, we know that mass attracts other mass, which is gravity. But does that make sense? Why should it attract mass?

Mod 80, I believe that you mis-heard part of the lecture. The prof said that the entire universe lives on Sesame Street. Now even to me, the one with the non-scientific mind, that makes perfect sense.

Goq, cute, better than BMI mass, unless we are talking muscle mass then it is ok, we will not discuss the other mass because of the honey and all other yummy sweet and delicious things we ….oh yeah we are not discussing that. 🙂
