work work and work some more. thank you Hashem that todays a very busy day and then have 3 other jobs when I leave here at 5:30! I dont think I even have time to eat!!!!
The “best” tanis I had was when I called up a former chavrusa from yeshivah and for six hours straight (remember it was a taanis, no coffee break) we reviewed what we learned 10 years before in yeshivah.
And I had my luck of spending 3 hours on my feet out in the sweltering sun by my mechanic. Then comes along a fellow and gulp down a cup of cold drink. In my presence. I almost fainted. Really!
Go to an area with a shorter day. I’m in Europe what the fast ended at 10:37pm local time! My fast ended up being 22 hours — almost as long as Yom Kippur!!!
Make the day MEANINGFUL rather than let the day slip by…
Choose extra ????? & do it in a niftar’s name (I chose Leiby Kletzky). R Goldwasser mentioned even smiling to people & saying hello to those whom you wouldn’t ordinarily greet. Split sefer Tehillim among others to complete the sefer that day.
