I don’t understand the concept.
Well i have already been challenged for the other one i guess i could do a two fer.
I challenge:
Hakatan
Akuperma and
Popa_bar_abba
To take the Ice Bucket Challenge or donate money to the IDF.
PBA will need to have all of his wives pour a bucket at the same time in order to qualify.
I saw a really funny one where this guy was going to just pour a bucket on his head. Then his kids take a hose and squirt him all over. lol
At first I thought the whole thing was silly. But have you seen the numbers? As of this morning, they said that they’ve gotten over $94 million in donations since July 29th! In the same period last year, they got just over $2 million! So this thing is really working.
I would just like to mention that there is an Israeli company called Brainstorm which has a potential cure for ALS. It was used on the son of R’ Chaim Shmulevitz zt”l, R’ Rafael, who had an advanced case of ALS. He got it with a compassionate use exemption, and it worked for him! He had been in a wheelchair, unable to speak, and now B”H he’s walking and talking again!
It is currently in clinical trials in the US. So if you know anyone with ALS, tell them to look into it and see if they could get into the trial, or at least try for a compassionate use exemption. It can save their lives!
Can donate without an ice bucket.
i saw a video of someone jewish doing it in a restaurant. he nominates his people and then he sits down on a chair, and he hands a person the bucket to pour over him, then this other person changes the bucket and pours a whole bowl of tomatoe sauce down him!!!

I heard in the beginning he was miraculously much better but after a few weeks the treatment stopped working. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

What if someone refuses the challenge?
They have 24 hours to donate $100.00 to the foundation. You need to have someone take a video of it by saying what you are doing, then you nominate a few other people to do it then post it in social media so your friends can see it.
No you don’t. Nobody can tell you what to do. You can pour an ice bucket over the head of the person who invented the whole stupid thing.
If frum women are going to do it, they should at least switch to a tichel first.

Yeah, in fact, there’s no reason to do it in sadness, melancholy, depressed state. A mitzvah (teshuva too) should be done with happiness and enthusiasm. So let’s grab to moment and use it..
