Very not gishmack that they change the clock on Motzei Shabbos. I usually sleep Shabbos day as I did this week and therefore I anyways go to sleep late on Motzei Shabbos, so now I am going to sleep late and I am losing an hour. Technically I could wake up an hour later but I don’t like messing up my sleep schedule. Messing it up Shabbos is more than enough for me. I want my hour back Im going to be so tired tomorrow.
I still can’t figure out why we don’t change the clocks at 4 pm on Mondays. Why in the world upset the body clocks of millions of individuals when you can just get out an hour early/late from work once a year!
Clocks are not changed in Arizona or Hawaii, so maybe you should move to one of those states. Be careful, though – there are parts of Arizona where the clocks do change!
WIY:- 4 years from now in 2017, the clocks go forward on Purim, so have a shorter Taanis Esther, and a longer Purim evening and then Purim day to deliver Shelach Monos.
So maybe in 2017, you’ll be grateful to loose 1 hour sleep and more awake hours to celebrate Purim.
& if you do need to sleep then, first cosume some wine, and when you sleep to recover from the time change, you can fulfill not knowing the difference between Orrur Homon & Boruch Mordochai.
