I had that too recently! Nothing like watching sunrise for a few days in a row.
Not sure what the issue is, but try talking to others about it, if possible. I found that talking relieves a lot of the weight that the issue is now holding you down with.
Eclipse: thanks. You’re absolutely right. But it was too hard. I did what Streekgeek suggests (though before I saw her post), and it made things much easier and now it’s easier to daven to Hashem and to read about emunah and bitochon.
Very funny Little Froggie. By recently, I meant in the last few months. This stint of watching sunrise was the week of Rosh Hashana when sunrise was nice and early. It totally ruined my whole y”t so I did something about it so the same wouldn’t happen again on sukkos… But thanks for your concerns regarding the issues I was experiencing. It is much appreciated.
@Little Froggie – Please disregard my previous comment. I was temporarily in a bad mood and my cynical side came through a bit. I apologize.
@computer777 – Glad to hear it’s all working out! Hashem should give you the strength to overcome this test. And I hope you have your nights back, and your children have you back!
Melatonin won’t work if there is something bothering your conscience. I’ve been using melatonin for years, and whenever there is something on my mind, no amount of melatonin or sleeping pills can put me to sleep.
