    Perhaps because in the Jewish world it is the mother that provides most of the education to her children and the husband should be working to support his family. Whatever is said, the fact that a husband works goes back to Adam harishon and it wouldn’t be “healthy” for the couple if the husband spent his days at home. If you mean while your husband would be learning, how long would that be already? And if it clearly will be a money issue, maybe learning shouldn’t be an option.

    That’s a whole different problem, not a problem that should affect your life. People of every circles get married and I don’t think that’s an issue that should be looked upon when making a decision as of when to start dating. You’re at a very “changing” age and making the right decision without being influenced by the outside world is very difficult. You also seem to be very versatile, building a plan would be a first step, it’s easier to follow plan that’s restricting than no plan at all.
