What exactly is the issue? Need help with the kids? Totally helpless without him?

It’s hard. Here are a few tips:

    1. Put money in the pushka at least once a day for his Hatzlacha

    2. Daven 1 tefilla (shmonei esrei) and talk to Hashem like your friend.

    3. Ask your husband to call you twice a day. He will call you during his free time. If he calls, don’t call him. If he doesn’t, keep your outgoing calls to a minimum (2 calls).

    4. DO NOT call your husband a million times – unless it’s an emergency (but a true emergency that he would have to come home).

    5. Keep very busy. Especially at night. Go out with friends or talk on the phone or watch something. The idea: distract yourself. Nights are hardest.

    Good Luck. Keep strong.

    LOL

(Sorry, as the resident single here, I just think this post is funny)

(what do you think singles do ALL THE TIME??? Their spouse is never home… just sayin’)

Sorry, didn’t mean to go off topic.

Pray, let’s continue giving support to a poor married woman who has to cope with being alone for 2-3 days.

be good- while you may find it funny, for the op this is a difficult situation. While I don’t have my own car, if someone tells me his car is currently out of commission it isn’t funny. True, he can take the bus or train like all other car-less individuals, but that’s not what he’s used to. The op also didn’t mention for how long her husband will be away- it might be more of in the range of two weeks.

be good, do singles live alone? I was under the assumption that singles live either with their families or with a roommate.

If some singles do live totally alone, I really sympathize, it must feel very lonely and depressing.

Gamanit I totally agree with you. If someone complains they have a headache, I won’t tell him “who cares I have a migraine”

You give each person advice based on their situation.
