How many hours a day do you spend in YWN Coffee Room? Just wondering…
Also, what would you order if you could have coffee here?

Regular, 2% milk – cholov yisroel, no sugar.
decaff, splenda,and a sweetroll.
Cyber Java, no milk, no sugar. If the coffee itself doesn’t taste good, why are you drinking it?
squeak- you drink it like my sis-in-law, straight up. here’s coffee itself that tastes good, but with a lil enhancement. hazelnut, splenda, a drop of blue milk
Used to spend quite some time in this CR then kinda grew out of it if you know what I mean. Sometimes check it though to see how the guys here are coping without me and ya know what? They aren’t!!!
But on the subject of coffee- Nescafe Gold Blend 2% Milk with 2 teaspoons of sugar. Mmmmmmmmm…
decaf coffee with a splash of milk and no sugar. I dont really need the milk, I just like watching the color change 🙂
But I much prefer tea (without sugar) and I drink that all day long.
too many!! I am forcing myself off right now. I got too many things to do today. BBBYYEEE EEVVERYOONNEEEE!!! This is so painful. I am suffering withdrawal symptons already. I’ll take a decaf with 1/2 tsp organic sugar and some soymilk.

hot herbal tea and a croissant… does that kind of defeat the point of a “coffee room”?
If we’re going to start listing different brands of instant coffee as “types” of coffee, then I can understand why everyone is adding milk and sugar. I am a bit of a coffee afficionado, and the instant stuff is a poor excuse for coffee. It is not a type of coffee, it is a reconstituted, dehydrated ground drip coffee from Arabica beans. And adding hazelnut syrup flavor is something you can do to any liquid.
Anyone here likes Turkish coffee? If not, how do we all enjoy our brew – French press, drip, espresso? Where do the beans come from? Do you roast them yourself? Grind them? Are you the type who will only brew coffee from beans that were roasted and ground within the past hour?
JK, BTW. I’m not THAT nuts about coffee! Havin’ a little fun is all.
why drink coffee if you can drink bourbon instead???

chuck, you have a good point as usual, and that is EXACTLY where my mind went when areivim used the term straight-up. The only problem is that Maker’s Mark has the opposite effect from coffee, and is largely inconducive to doing business.

asdf, if your full experience with coffee has to do with Starbucks, then I understand totally. I too, am sickened by the perfume scent.
squeak: no, not completly cause of the smell of starbucks, i just don’t see what’s that great about it!!! i actually never even tasted it cause it just doesn’t excite me!!!

I didn’t have any coffee today. It was a real, tough day. I must make sure that doesn’t happen again.
I once heard a story with The chazon Ish (Or was it some other gadol around the same time?) who wasn’t too excited over the prospect of a Chareidi newspaper. He said, “You and I don’t have time to write. Who’s going to write? Those who have time.”

Trying to wean my way out of the CR.
1 full (not heaping) teaspoon tasters choice – 3 1/2 full teaspoons sugar in a 9 oz. cup with milk (not particular which type – although cholov yisroel bli”n) in the top 1/2 inch.
I only have one a day & don’t need it at all – just enjoy slowly sipping it.
