I was driving through a New York village (if that), when I got pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign. True, I missed it, it was a stop sign planted in the middle of nowhere on a two way street. Upon closer inspection I made out an alley way or street connecting to it – just big enough for a police car to stalk out unfortunate unsuspecting “out of towners”… That was last year. I plead Not Guilty. And here is the notice they sent from the village court – WORD FOR WORD, CHARACTER BY CHARACTER – EXACTLY!!!

the prosecutor to negotiate a plea bargain. The Judge will then review any proposed plea bargain. If the plea is accepted by the Judge a sentece will be set at that time. If no plea bargain can be agreed upon by all parties a trial date will be set.
You are entitled to be represented by an attorney at each stage of these proceedings. If you wish to be represented by an attorney, your attorney should accompany you as scheduled.
Failure to appear as scheduled could result in your driving priviledge being suspended and any-bail you have posted will-be foreited. Requests for an adgournment within seven days of the scheduled appearance date may not be granted except in cases of extreme hardship.

****Note: Appearance Date was crossed off BY PEN and overwritten 10/12/2017. Why? Because they forgot to mail it to me!! They only realized AFTER 10/05/17 (first day of Succos!) So these nincompoops crossed it BY PEN and made it for a week later (Shmini Atzeres!!!) – yeah – I got it on the day before Hoshana Rabba!!
ANYWAYS, how many (other) blunders can you spot? Be specific – enumerate them.

Are you sure this isn’t from a Nigerian prince?
November 10, 2017 12:58 pm at 12:58 pm #1401079iacisrmmaParticipant“a sentece will” – should be “sentence”
“driving priviledge” – should be privilege
“adgournment” – should be “adjournment”
“premitted” – should be “permitted”
Maybe they’ll reduce the fine for correcting their spelling mistakes.
