….. Specifically to see if there is an email address they make public for others to see, so that if I wanted to contact them them “offline” about something they wrote instead of starting a whole new thread.
There’s no place for an email address in the profile. I think they do this to address possible tznius concerns.
It is too bad that there isn’t an “IM” feature here, or alternatively, a thread where 2 people can request each other’s email addresses. If 2 people agree, there shouldn’t be a problem and a Mod could process the request.

you are mixing this site up with some of the other sites that you must be on. this is a kosher place and you cannot get any info about other posters with out the mods permission
Leave your message on the Contact Us form and ask the mods to forward. This doesnt always work,depends how busy they are and if you’re the same gender etc. Or start a thread only for that poster and write that nobody else should read it. Come on, you know we wont look…
