Can someone please recommend a hotel for a chosson and kallah? IY”H, our son is getting married in Lakewood Sunday night and I am having a hard time finding a hotel. He would prefer something near Lakewood. They need it for 2 nights. Thanks in advance!!

January 7, 2021 9:31 am at 9:31 am #1936183Frum in the SouthParticipantThanks, Seth123. I was told to get a suite with 2 queen beds. I tried Ocean Place, The Wave, Oyster Point and the Sheraton Eatontown. None of them had suites with 2 queen or double beds.

Certainly, I’d think it’s appropriate and acceptable for the Chosson and Kallah to make the plans regarding hotel/no hotel, finding an apartment, which shul/yeshiva to belong with, among other facets which mark the beginning of marking their independent stamp in life. I’m not familiar with parents fully planning the wedding night hotel reservations or the honeymoon. Let them live life 120+
January 7, 2021 12:08 pm at 12:08 pm #1936300GadolhadorahParticipantTry asking for “adjoining rooms” rather than “suites”. Typically they are configured with a single king/queen bed in one room and two queen/double beds in the adjoining room which is the most commonly requested configuration for families where the parents stay in one room and the kids in the other.
January 7, 2021 9:22 pm at 9:22 pm #1936518Moshep7ParticipantYou can try home wood suites in Hamilton NJ
This is where a lot of Chosson & Kallahs
You can get a suite with 2 bedsJanuary 9, 2021 11:32 pm at 11:32 pm #1936916Frum in the SouthParticipantThank you, everyone. Our son found a hotel. We became Shomer Shabbos about 20 years ago and this is our oldest son who is getting married. BH, we just had an amazing Shabbos in Lakewood and are looking forward to the chasunah tomorrow night!
