I very much want to contact Rabbi Yitzchak Lerner, author of the amazing Sefer Habayis and Shmiras HaGuf V’HaNefesh. I have a postal address but I don’t know how current it is. Besides, it’s not practical to post a letter from Aust when an email will take seconds.

Does anyone have an email they can give me? Or refer me to someone I can ask?

I also need to contact Rabbi Shimon Eider, author of many publications of halacha. If anyone could supply me with his email too, that would be appreciated. I have an important question to ask him.

I was trying to read his Halachos of Nidda book. I saw a big flaw in it. None of the Hebrew is punctuated. I cannot read the words!

I have to look up each word each time, to pronounce properly “hefsek Tahara” for example. I wanted to know why a book meant to teach people about nidda observance can’t be read properly by the average person because we can’t read Hebrew without menukad…..

What do you think are my chances of convincing Feldheim publishers of releasing a new edition with vowelised Hebrew? 🙂

Have you seen Rav Binyomin Forst’s seforim? He wrote a two volume sefer and a one volume sefer. The two volume sefer is more complex. The one volume is called A Woman’s Guide To The Laws Of Niddah, but there’s no reason a man can’t use it.

I am aware of them. I have the kitchen one. I am a mashgiach.

I was thinking, if it takes two who thick volumes to learn nidda, it’s too complicated for me. I ordered the new one from Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu. See how that looks.

What publishers need to understand is not everyone can read Hebrew so why printva word without vowels?

That’s why I’m recommending the one volume sefer.

Thanks but email would be better. I would like to ask R. Lerner something….

    Last case scenario, I could post a letter but that’s 1980s communicating….

Sorry, don’t have his email address. He only gave out his phone number to the talmidim in his Semicha shiur.

Maybe you could get his email through Mir Yerushalayim? His shiur is given thru Mir.

Ok! I’ve read about them in biographies. They were in Shanghai during the war. Rabbi Yerucham Levovitz. Rabbi Levenstein. Does the Mir yeshiva have a contact email?

    [email protected]

Ask for Rabbi “Yosef” Lerner’s contact info. (He doesn’t go by Yitzchok, IIRC. His middle name is Yitzchak, first name is Yosef.)

    Thanks for the info!

I saw Mir Yeshiva has a facebook. I could also send a message thru there as well.
