Is inDesign better than Word for Hebrew desktop publishing? I do both text (in Word) and graphics (in Adobe) and my printing manager complains that the graphics come in problematic and he has to work to correct them. Is inDesign practical for large amounts of text? Is it an easy program to learn?
I don’t think Davka is adequate for my needs. I need a high-end graphics prog like Photoshop and the printer says my graphics needs a lot of work to print well in Word docs.
What is Publisher? Does it work with all Hebrew fonts?
Publisher is part of Microsoft office. I use it with quite a few diffwerent Hebrew fonts. Google “publisher tutorial” for tips on how to use the programme and to help you get started. Hatzlocho
If you are already working with graphics in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator then you should be able to learn InDesign easily. InDesign is basically a combintion of Photoshop and Illustrator and has many of the same tools as the other programs.
