I have to be Modeh to you in an argument we had a while back. I saw today that R’ Moshe (OC 2:7) mentions that K’firah is included in Avodah Zarah so much so that a Meisis for K’firah has the Din of a Maisis.
July 27, 2012 3:10 am at 3:10 am #888038HealthParticipantSam -Well it’s the nine days and you did the right thing. Good for you.
July 27, 2012 3:33 am at 3:33 am #888039KozovMemberI dont know about the Halachik ramifications but I think the maamar razal ?? ????? ?????? ??? ???? ???? ??? ????? ???? ??? ????? ?????? ??? ????? ???? ??? ????? demonstrates that its even worse.
July 27, 2012 3:46 am at 3:46 am #888040HealthParticipantKozov -I’m not a 100% sure, but I think we were talking about the other way around – A kofer has a Din of an Oived Avodah Zara.
July 27, 2012 4:08 am at 4:08 am #888041Sam2ParticipantKozov: We were talking the way Health said.
Health: I did not post that because it’s the nine days. I would have posted that any day of the year on which I realized I was wrong. I had made an argument (I don’t remember, I think I was just saying that your point wasn’t Muchrach, not that it was necessarily wrong) that turned out not to be Emes because I found a Ra’aya against. So I had to retract that argument. Not doing so would have been a Bizayon of Torah.
July 27, 2012 4:12 am at 4:12 am #888042HealthParticipantSam- Well anyway it was a nice thing to do esp. during the 9 days.
July 27, 2012 5:32 am at 5:32 am #888043KozovMemberbichlal mosayim moneh. I wasnt arguing or anything.
July 27, 2012 6:00 am at 6:00 am #888044HealthParticipantKozov – Well that’s what we were arguing about -what does that include over here. Before you post anymore – go read the topic.
July 27, 2012 6:56 am at 6:56 am #888045KozovMemberI dont know where to look, but anyways I said i wasnt talking halachikly, i was just being meir a m”r that seemed to indicate that kfira is more severe. Would you agree to that? Im going to bring more mekoros (halachik this time) right now if they were already mentioned or its off topic feel free to not respond. See haora 6 and 7 in this link, http://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=15949&st=&pgnum=314&hilite=

On the main page of the CR there is a topic called “Searching for old posts” -this is where you go to find something.
“but anyways I said i wasnt talking halachikly, i was just being meir a m”r that seemed to indicate that kfira is more severe. Would you agree to that? Im going to bring more mekoros (halachik this time) right now if they were already mentioned or its off topic feel free to not respond.”
Listen go to this topic below and comment over there. I researched it for you because I didn’t remember myself. You can’t come here and start guessing what we were talking about over there. If you want to start a topic about Kefira go ahead, but it has nothing to do with my argument with Sam – which is what this topic is about!
The topic is called:
“Does Neturei Karta have a point?”
July 27, 2012 7:25 pm at 7:25 pm #888047KozovMemberIf Sam says something I can and will assume that you said something near the opposite. Hence, my comments. And i did (just now) look up the thread and my posts seem at least somewhat relevant but its hard for me to read through a whole thread on one foot even when it is current to be exactly sure. Ever heard of the term “lihoir”? Im not coming here and guessing anything besides for what i wrote in the first line and the subject had something to do with that. i think thats enough to go by. And now youre telling me it has nothing to do with it. I dont see why not.

I’m not sure whether it’s proper to make someone laugh during the nine days, but I definitely appreciated that one. I hope Health found the humor in that too. And that seems like a very good note to wish a good Shabbos and an easy/meaningful fast.
