It’s important to note that there is a lack of understanding as to what hashgacha means. Regardless of the machlokes regarding hashgacha, all beleive Hashem constantly creates everything and knows everything. See Rambam Yesodei Hatorah 2:9

This has nothing to do with the Rambam’s shitah of hashgacha in animals in Moreh 3:17.
